Hojlund.

Apparently PSG “offered more”

Maybe their wage offering was more, but does our social media outreach offer more than a few extra grand per week? If they have the right social media manager.

Yes, it's clear that players look at the social media members graph(I'm sure Barry has one) before choosing a club.

I’m taking about how Man United have one of the biggest presences, as a sporting outfit, on the planet.

Is that a deciding factor?

Rocket science, it is not.

I believe Romano posted this earlier this week, something about us upping his wage to 340k plus bonuses to fend off PSG. Diafol knows the details

Of course it makes a difference. United are far more famous than PSG, only a lot of money would persuade a player to go to them over United.

Shouldn’t you be discussing Championship matters?

Or does you’re affinity to Liverpool allow you to still dine at the top table?

It was a complex negotiation but a £300k pw basic package plus goal and appearance bonuses tipped the balance. The young Dane must have confidence in himself to have accepted that.

300k a week is just stupid wages for a 20 yo who has proved almost nothing. United have lost the plot here or are just desperate!

I'm astounded by these levels of wages. To me it kinda explains why some players simply do not perform. What happened with the feckin love of the game and being reward as you develop and earn it. Straight in a 15m a year for a kid whose had his first break out season and did OK. Sancho springs to mind. 300 a week says "you've made it" when actually you've only just started.

I know nothing much about this kid but the fee and wages is what you'd expect for an established international goal scorer, not potential.

He’s a 1.5 in 2 striker for Denmark I believe.
