Thought Ampadu looked quiet, ER debut might have unsettled him. Gray did well for his age but we need better. Defence was awful and we need a striker. Poveda and Byram did well, id probably give Byram motm for helping turning the game around

Positives:
- we can pass the ball again
- attacking threat is big
- looked a massive gulf in quality between us and Cardiff. Yeah yeah the score line but actual quality it was like a cup game

Negatives
- defence as always. Key moments just not good enough and of course cooper goes off injured
- striker - it didn’t stick all game. Bamford is done and Rutter doesn’t seem like the type of player. Need a signing there I think
- end product. Lot of good wingers and attackers in this squad but they are so frustrating

Agree. Gray did well considering he’s 17 and on debut. If we signed someone of that ability we’d be struggling and we have zero depth in that position.

Only caught the last 20 when we were well on top but the lack of penetration up front was clear to see. As someone else commented, we will be faced with the packed defence at most home games so we had better get used to it. Justice was done with the draw from the part I saw

Ampadu was excellent second half. Quiet in the first half.

Got to build on blocks. First game under a new manager with half a squad injured and another load of players not yet signed. Play like we did second half and we will be up there.

Negatives - two shots, two goals from them. Same old. I couldn’t work out the system first half though. It was like two at the back with Ayling right wing and Gray tucking in to help out.

Gnonto isn’t a number 9.

James looked lost until Byram came on.

We never gave up.
Byram has quality. Hope he stays fit.
Summerville and Sinistera make things happen. Can we keep them both?

I like Poveda. He attacks full backs.

Archie is going to be huge for us I think.

Once we got going the goals were inevitable. Just a shame we didn’t get the second a bit sooner.

I couldnt see system either, but commentators were going on about it incessantly.

Bielsa had system. you could see it, he needed full summer to implement it, I find it hard to believe Farke has a more harder to adopt system (commentators kept saying it takes a long time for players to get used to).
