When you look at it like that its mental how many are injured

So, Joffy to lead the line against Cardiff then.

Kebab - would be useful to get the ‘injured’ labels back on (helped me anyway!).

Sam Byram has signed one year contract - wish him well but this is really indicative of the state of play.

There are no doubt there are positives.

We look fitter. Last season we probably went from the fittest side in the universe to a rabble that could only compete for 20 minutes a game. We all know who was responsible for this.

We have some players who would walk into most teams in the league. Unfortunately some of them are injured and there are question marks over whether some will leave.

The manager is impressing so far. Honest and open and making players throw up is exactly what was needed.

Even with the Injuries we have enough in that squad to be ripping teams to shreds in this league.

Cardiff, West Brom. Sheffield Wed first 3 at home
Birmingham Ipswich and nillwall first 3 away

Anything less than 13 points would worry me for what’s ahead.

I’m more interested in our playing style and tactics than anything else for now. Bielsa proved you have to attack the league and be absolutely ruthless. Think Farke done that with Norwich so will go for it

You look at the talent in the squad in forward areas and think we should be taking teams apart.

I’d rather try cut our losses on Rutter and buy a different forward proven at this level.

Byram is a sensible signing.

Centre back is a concern.

Central midfield needs another body and we need to keep Adams.

If we can keep 2 of Harrison, Sini and Gnonto I think we’re in a good place in terms of firepower.

Main concern is that we’re entering a long and chaotic season with a disjointed injury prone squad. Will have enough to rip Cardiff apart though and put a marker down.

You do realise Ouasim Bouy left a couple of years ago?

posted on 5/8/23

Ouasim indeed left 2 years ago.

He is still and will always be dining out on Leeds fans.
Earned enough in 5 years that some fans won’t earn in a lifetime

But back to your main point, I agree, a lot of spinning plates for new owners.

Would be nice to get rid of a couple of players for good money and spend on a 10, Striker, RCB

And at the moment looks like winning the league will be a big ask. But even as we are should be play offs minimum.

People love to exaggerate the negative.

I expected better and not happy with the window at all. But we should still be better than most sides.

Am paid and Farke are great business. We do need more though.

Let’s see what happens tomorrow and the rest of this month.

Don’t like to be the bearer of bad news but expect Tyler to go in the next week or so,

I don’t think that’s the worst news. As long as the money is good and spent well.

Sign a replacement, a RCB and a forward or 10 with the money.

The club should have these targets lined up.

But do they?

Sell Harrison or Gnonto as well and a good pot to get someone like Hamer in plus a CF and CB

Be great news, vastly over rated.

But if its a loan, i’ll be fooking fuming

I’m fully expecting a few more players to leave, including Adams, Gnonto, Meslier (and someone please take Firpo!) - and if they want to leave, that’s clearly for the best. But given the number of invalids we’ve got in our squad (9 crocked before the season’s even started) I’d also be disappointed if Farke didn’t bring in at least two before the end of the transfer window. Ideally a striker and - you’ve guessed it - a left back. Given the knock-down price the 49ers bought us for, I can’t believe money’s a problem.

I still think we could lose any of these
before the window closes:

01. GK Illan Meslier (23) (3)
06. LCB Liam Cooper (31) (1)
03. LB Junior Firpo (26) (2) INJURED
12. CM Tyler Adams (24) (4) INJURED
11. LM Jack Harrison (26) (5) INJURED
29. LM Willy Gnonto (19) (4)
10 RM Crysencio Summerville (21) (3)

With Ampadu getting the #4 shirt, means that
Adams is almost a dead cert to leave to either
Villa or Chelsea.

Gnonto also could be gone.

Jack I wouldn't be shocked if he goes transfer
day deadline.

Adams doesn't have a loan clause. That's what I read.
He does have a 25 mill release clause. Right now,
I'd take that and plow it back into the team and be happy.

Don't trust them to spend it well, they'll want someone like Ashley Young or Barry Bannan

Yes I might not agree with you about the ease in which we may beat Cardiff tomorrow but I do on this potential Adams leaving soon rumour. Just hope like you say new signings are lined up and ready to hit the ground running.

Watching Blackburn vs WBA. 2-0 Blackburn.

Ewood Park is a tidy stadium.
