Believe it or not I did!
Couldn’t agree more
Plus factor in the fact that I couldn’t give a fa ck about the money. It’s not like we will ever be able to attract another Harry Kane, even if we offered 100mill.
What’s the point of football if you don’t want the best players to play for your club. I want to see Harry Kane in a spurs shirt ten times more than I want to see levy waste 90 million.
I don’t care if he leaves on a free, we won’t replace him anyway so I’d rather get another season with the greatest player I’ve ever seen at my club.
Looks like Levy agrees with me!
Kane guarantees a team top 4 and trophies. If Spurs sell Kane, they could well miss out on top 4 and go trophyless.
none of that is a guarantee, taking the money from Bayern is a guarantee.
Surely its easier to replace him with 86m to help top up what else you can to it?
Makes sense to keep Kane. Why give him away for under his market price?
£100 million should be minimum amount if any club wants him, then Daniel Levy can tell them to feck off.
Got to keep Kane now. Not worth the risk when we look like having a very good squad to perform next season without any European distraction. In a team made to score goals you want one of the best goal scorers here and he demonstrated that yet again against Shaktar. For those doubting whether he would work in an Ange team it seems like he does then.
Agreed on all your points. Hoping he stays, hoping Ange builds on a positive start, & hoping Levy gives Ange the defensive reinforcements we need. With no European football, history tells us it tends to help rebuilding sides outperform so a top 4 finish and a cup isn't out of the question.
BUT.... and it's a big BUT....
It's easy to make brave decision's based on a lot of things going right, with someone else's money !
I really hope he stays, I don't think he wants to go to Bayern but I think he's said he's OK with it if Spurs want a fee for him... Theres no downside here for Kane, ..He wins regardless of how this plays out. The boobie prize here is playing a couple of seasons for a European Superpower and winning a ton of trophies.
If he stays he'll do great in Ange's system, score a ton of goals and might win a trophy. Next Summer he stays or picks any club on the planet... win, win
The real question at stake here is, how brave are Spurs willing to be ?
Bayern are facked now anyway, Levy has just pi55ed all over their "Last Offer".... Watch them announce Vlahovic this week before Chelsea get their grubby mitts on him
This Kane situation is a headphuk.
Whereas b4 i was resigned and at peace with him going i am now thinking we simply cannot let him go!
Roll the dice Levy. Lets keep him, hope we start well, get better and convince him to stay
Football is such a crazy sport.. I know we have been shlt for a couple of years BUT
We've got "players manager" in Ange who is clearly gonna play to our strenths. Feels like more like the Poch era rather than the Jose/Conte chaos.
We've finally got a proper Number 10 to replace that creativity we lost from Eriksen and Dele going.
We are still to see the best from one of the best midfielders in the Prem in the past couple of years in Bissouma. Couple that with what looks like a rising star in Sarr, a reenergized GLC and combative players in Skipp & PEH (Granted Id swap either for JWP)
We have plenty of options in attacking areas in Sonny, Kulu, Richie & Solomon
We appearing to be addressing the CB issue.
Would anyone really be that shocked if Spurs made the Top 4 and had a real run at a cup.... Its only been a couple of years since that was the norm (Granted without getting over the line)
Maybe yesterday's entertaining football has gone to my head ?
I guess the question is can you stomach him running out to play against you in a Chelsea or United shirt in a years time which is a very real possibility if he doesn't go now.
very true, if he doesnt go to Bayern there is a very good chance he will go to Man Utd for free imo.
The biggest loser from today’s news is Alan Shearer.

I think a someone else has pointed out before, these are maybes. Getting in 100m to reinvest is a guarantee. I’m still of the belief that if he’s 99% certain to leave next year, he should be sold now. It’s all about his own mindset. If there’s a decent chance he might stay on and sign a new deal, then I can understand why Levy is turning down these offers.
In a way, it’s positive that he has turned it down because if Levy felt that on any level Kane was 100% gone next year, he would be selling in s heartbeat, just as he reluctantly did with Eriksen. Turning down that money suggests he thinks there’s s chance he’ll renew and he’ll know more than most what Kane is actually thinking right now.
I've done the maths and it is still a coin toss.
Would love him to stay obvs.
Vlahovic is heading to Chelsea which might might mean Bayern will double down on their Kane efforts now.

Be interesting if Man U and Chelsea finish outside top 6. Lets see if Media will push him to join them
i hope Levy delivered this message to Bayern by text, with a selfie with a cocktail in his hand, poolside in his Miami retreat, giving them the bird
Reported the actual deal on the table only guaranteed Spurs 73m.
Awk jog on Bayern
