its not fine, Reo is a far superior player.

I like the look of the Swedish lad we might get from Elfsborg, fits our player model to a tee, young, breaking into his Internationals team, not a huge outlay will look to improve him and sell on for decent profit

It concerns me that Bain got a new contract. Wouldn't argue with the list.

Like JFK, am also not impressed with the Turnbull situation. He’s a decent player, but there is a reason he was a backup.

As a sub. Didn’t impress much in games he started

Postecoglou telling us we need to prepare for losing favourites because that's how we,as a club, improve. Buy, improve, sell on, buy better.
I don't have the same trust in Rodgers as I did with the big fella to ID a quality player. Hope I'm wrong.

I don't think Turnbull is as good as Hatate but Hatates more likely to want and get the move.

I had high hopes for him. Showed in glimpses what he is capable of last season but he rarely did it and when he did it was always as a sub and never as a starter. I did think that perhaps he didn't suit Ange's system and that Rodgers would get the best out of him. It looks like Rodgers does not rate him at all.

haskabanovic showed flashes of class, but hasn't really take chances when presented with them.

if he goes and we replace him thats fine.

would be really dissapointed to see both Haska and Bernarbei move on

both players i enjoy watching

haska lacks a burst of pace , but hes such a skillful player - i actually thought Rodgers would get a tune out him

put it this way , hes better than Abada imo and id happily see him start over Maeda

Haksa is a frustrating player. He's obviously a tricky dribbler, and he has skill, unfortunately he doesn't have pace, and we don't really have any space for someone like him.

Would've loved the guy to hit the heights we thought he would, but that's just not going to happen.

Turnbull's definitely a good player, but Hatate is different class, there would sharks getting chucked about if we're to leave this season.

I expect us to sign one or two others for around £50M each, Neymar Jr. is still available.

I think he is on the slide big time and very poor with the ball at his feet. I dont think he will look good in Rodgers system.

you really get all sortsa different views on here.

I think he is better from a technical stand point but nowhere near Abada or Maeda for effectiveness.

Other two are fare more involved in the game and influence it far more. Haksa wins the eye test but when the stats are cracked out and looking at it tactically I think the other two are comfortably better.

It looks like we've taken in 4m from Sakala but Beale non committal about us being able to spend any of that.

We badly need a proper out and out wide attacking player imo.

Also rumour is Yilmaz is for the off. A player we would have to replace and if i'm honest if we recoup most of his fee it would be good business because he's not done enough when he's had chances and although neater and more of a man than Barasic he's not great at defending or attacking, good in the build up but just not enough and the chance to go an get a first choice LB to come in excites me.

I think we're now at the stage where we will only be signing replacements for certain outgoings.

If we get rid of Matondo or Wright or even both then surely a wide player must come in. Would rather have Wright than Matondo if it comes to it though.

Davies goes then we get a CB. I don't see us getting one without that happening even though it's been touted.

Yilmaz/Barasic go then we get a LB.

I'm taking issue with the OP. On the one hand you want to keep guys like Kwan & Iwata that had a chance pre-season and fooked it yet dispense with Scales & Welsh that had a chance and impressed, both in a position we are short on? I know we just signed the former but that should mean fack all.

Jury is out on so many. Scottish lads will largely be kept on to fill the Euro pool.

A bigger worry for me is where the jury's out guys get a chance? Rodgers worryingly slow to make subs on saturday. Ange was gung ho on that stuff and I think it helped squad harmony, fitness and injury reduction 2nd season.

Rocky was signed partly as he can cover RB BTW.
