Not liking what I am reading from Rodgers about Hatate at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just said exactly the same to one of my boys. Absolutely ridiculous comments.
I hate Rodgers even more than JFK does but I'll support him until he does something mental.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he continues to pick Turnbull over Hatate, I think that qualifies

Remember those halcyon days, when Ange was here, and we'd have our transfer business done sharpish?

And here we are, regressed ten years, back to the bad old days of Emperor Lawell and his facking about, and bad news in the press.

Just give me my Ange back and a bag eh cans

We've bought 5 players already. Ccv and Jota at least from memory brought in on deadline day.

My memory's not the best, but didn't Ange get the vast majority of his targets done nice and early?

Out of the five bought, probably Rocky and Holm are first team players, the rest are projects.

We still need a Jota replacement. Another CB, a LB and another striker.

The striker is needed because Oh is out for six weeks and Kyogo cannot be our only option up front. Yes Maeda is there, but he's no replacement for Kyogo.

Prove your good enough

FFS Brenda did you not watch him last season.

To be fair to him sounds like he's not giving his all in training, waiting for a transfer to come in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not a chance of that

He's one of the best trainers we have . He's the only one that goes and does extra after the session . A complete pro !

Rodgers comments are very worrying for me , he's not winning me over by playing Turnbull over Hatate

I hope that was a one off

There is just a sense that the trajectory Ange demanded has been replaced with someone who's content with just having enough at his disposal

What have I missed? What did Rodgers say about Reo?

Do I start calling him a rat again?

“I’ve mentioned before, it’s not in my contract to play any player. He’s got three years left on his contract so there’s no rush. It’s a new cycle, a new manager and he has to prove himself. I’m not really worried about what’s said or not, I’ll play the team I see with the best energy, mentality and efficiency with how we want to work.
There’s no doubt Reo is a talented player, but there’s other talented players in the squad. If players aren’t playing, I’ve been open and honest with them about where we’re at, how I prepare a team, when I tell them the team, and when they’re not playing how they’ve got to respond.
Reo’s been really good in training. He didn’t play but he came into the game. He knows areas he needs to work on to play for me, and the structure of how I work. He’s responded really well in training and will absolutely be a player we need over the course of the season.”

Aye, mentioned our link to him at the start of the week. ANOTHER midget midfielder, when our clear priorities should be LW, LB, CB, keeper, and probably striker (now Oh’s fooked and Kyogo’s always one robust challenge away from another shoulder injury). Genius.

That’s some seriously worrying drivel from BR. There’s plenty of players in our squad who might need to prove themselves to the new manager … but Hatate wouldn’t be in the top 20 on that list. Jeezo.

A good manager would adjust the tactics to suit the best players he has. Honestly getting totally fed up with this crap.

What is it about our club that the powers that be seem determined to feck up every time we are in a position of strength?

I'm aware that it may not happen, but Rodgers' and our track record say it probably will.

posted on 11/8/23

Aye, Rodgers is a nutter. His ego, arrogance and guccibelt are astounding.

And he doesn't have the latitude to be fvckin about.

Are you happy with what you've seen and heard so far? Our imo most gifted player has to prove himself to get in the team ahead of David "the bull" Turnbull.

We knew what we were in for with Rodgers Heed, just didn't realise he'd leave out arguably our best player.

Bang on! Brendan by his own admission is a Celtic fan. I assume he’s watched the games? A blind man could see Anges blue (green?) print for Winning Games, Winning Trophies and getting the support onside. Ultimately propelling himself into the mix for the ‘big jobs’.

Brendan is an experienced Manager/Coach. So if he believes there is ‘nothing’ he can learn/borrow from his predecessor, and his way is better … then he’ll need to live or die by that decision … but I fear how that will pan out.

BTW. There’s a concerning lack of analysis of Rangers going full pelt for 30mins on Wednesday … and then running out of steam? 😉

Hatate is very hot and cold though

But brendan has to also realise this guy was only just pipped for player of the year last year.

posted on 11/8/23

BR’s comments kind of smack of the first day in prison where you leather the daddy. Dropping arguably our best player because he knows best.

I don’t think I’ll ever like him.
