Couldn`t care less. My focus is on Brentford on Sunday, Kane or no Kane.
"I have deliberately kept clear of the Harry Kane nonsense the past few days. "
That's because you spent the past 2 months telling everyone he's definitely staying
Glad football is back, not sure about Spurs "flourishing" Just had our lowest finish in a decade, not in Europe and look like losing one of our best ever players.... I think Id describe that as a downtrend.
No clue or expectations re Spurs, could be decent, could be a disaster. I think I'll reserve judgement for a month of so.. See how the first 5 games go and see what happens in the rest of the window.

With Kane - I reckon we were a shoe in for top 6, the “challengers” all pre occupied with Europe this year whereas we would have been nicely rested.
Without Kane, I expect 10-6 and 6 would only be if Son and Kulu find their form again, Richy stays on side and we buy another defender
I'm really curious to see Angeball in the Prem.
We Never Stop
Dier apparently the new captain FFS or so he is telling his dog
Gutted that Kane is leaving, would have loved to have seen him in this new system.
I am still excited about the new season and I still think we can do well.
Richy really needs to step up now.

If Dier is starting 5-6 games from now, let alone being named captain then Ange’s days are numbered. The blokes got the turning speed of a broken down milk float - how will that work in a high line

Would prefer he steps back a little given how faaaacking often he is offside
Also amusing how if or when Kane goes, Sky think Spurs will be playing with 10 men.
The three seasons after whom I consider the great British striker of all times, Jimmy Greaves, left Spurs, they went on to win three trophies, two domestic and a European. Players come and go, but the club still carries on.
Greaves, Smith, Lineker, Allen, Chivers, Archibald, Crooks, Defoe, Bale all left and Spurs still did just fine.
Really looking forward to this season following Spurs.
SANDY, did you not shout loud that Kane will be playing for us against Brentford

which in itself is huge for us. We barely managed to stay awake for the past few seasons of Conte/Mourinho, so just watching some enjoyable attacking football is a massive step up.
For someone uninterested in the Kane saga, you sure have a lot to say about him.
Firstly, I don't care that he's going, we should ALWAYS have huge respect for what he did with us yet the plane has barely left the ground and you're describing him as a billy big bolllllocks. Sorry, what? He's nothing of the sort. He asked to leave in 2021 and in the end respected his contract. He stayed silent on the whole thing for two years and now he's leaving, with dignity, and a virtual guard of honour from every fan worldwide. He's done nothing to suggest he's Billy BB. You're confusing media hysteria with personal arrogance. He's not Ronaldo. He's not done some pointless interview with that infected sccrotum, Pier Morgan.
It sounds to me like you're just hurting cos he's gone. Well we all are but players come and go. Personally, and I know it's an unpopular opinion, we were right to sell him SO LONG as that money gets reinvested in the team. That's where the doubt is for me.
Kane isn't leaving because he wants to. He's leaving because he had to. We didn't match his ambition. Don't blame Kane. Blame Levy.

Kane deserves to go and win trophies somewhere they put trophy winning as a priority -- not just finishing in top 4.
Also, the deal is insane---£400k a week for 4 years -- HOW CAN ANYONE turn this down?
Kane will beset for life twice over now!
Good luck Kane and thanks!
I’m with Fridgeboy on this Sandy sorry. I think you just pretend it doesn’t matter to make yourself feel better. Like a false sense of security. We lose 30 goals mate, so unless we are signing a replacement ( not Richarlison ) how do we replace that?

Like I said Billy big bollox. Never turned up in semis or finals. Took the captaincy, went on tour despite knowing he was off. Didn't care about all the young kids still badgering their Dads to buy his shirt, then walks out on opening day of the season. Looks like Judas mark Ii to me. Always only been about brand Kane.
