Key moment. A man utd keeper coming out to claim a cross. Ohnono
They'd have scored it then the refs ordered a retake then they'd have scored again then refs ordered a retake then they'd have scored again then refs ordered a retake then they'd have scored again then refs ordered a retake

To be fair, I don't think he'd give a sh!t even oif the media crucified him. He's one of those huge personalities. He's a good keeper with excellent ball skills but if you look at clips of him,, his decision making is erratic - that's not an insult before you jump all over me, just an observation. There is often a trade off with keepers between their goalkeeping skills - their decision making - and their ball skills. I would rate Allison for example as a better goalkeeper but Onana as more comfortable on the ball. Ederson is great on the ball but a pretty average keeper. It all depends on what the manager wants from his keeper. Onana is a good keeper, a little rash at times and very good on the ball.

Good comment. I like his big personality, he is unaffected by whats happening. I read somewhere the last time an occasion got to him was the europa league final against Jose Utd and after Ajax lost, he vowed to himself. To be more self confident.
There was a reporter asking him if he was worried facing man city in the champions league final and Onana laughed it off.
Yesterday, i was more worried about the midfield, he tried at times to find someone to receive the ball and the midfielders where to far and wide from him, he had to kick it long.

I agree about your midfield. I see a lot of people criticising Casemiro but I would point the finger at the manager. Playing Mount deeper as a more orthodox midfielder will never work. He's a pressing attacking midfielder. He went to press leaving holes behind him, allowing Casemiro to be overrun - the defence didn't step up to fill the hole or one of the wing-backs step in to help Casemiro. Mount will be a good player for you in those tight games when you need a more energetic, pressing number 10 than Bruno. But at home, Bruno's creativity and goalscoring are much more important than Mount's energy.

I've been wondering what on earth Ten Hag had in mind for Mount and, so far, the signs are not promising. We'll see.
He did ok yesterday, but would have been at fault for dropped points had the pen been given and converted.

He made a couple easy saves, but that's his job, right?
Pen wasn't given by the officials so Onana not guilty of an offence. Therefore, a good performance. It'd be so unfair to judge him for a 'mistake' he wasn't even sanctioned for.
Iv seen Onana 3 times for United now (Real, Lens and last night) and he has made a big error in each game.

It'll be interesting to see if forwards get punished for making similar challenges on him too.
