Inbound transfers - crunch time

Don't think we have a need for another CB, personally. I think 4 signings are about as many as we can hope for.

I know everyone is saying we have only taken 2 points from 3 poor to average sides but I think you have to acknowledge every team in the championship on their day can beat anyone. Birmingham beat Bristol C away yesterday and Leicester only just in the dying seconds beat Cardiff so not the whipping boys a lot on here predicted.

We do need at least 6 new players I would actually prefer 8 to cover our inevitable injuries and suspensions to come and in Farke we have an excellent motivator and tactician capable of getting Leeds promoted.

I expect to see at least one new signing this week hopefully 2 and if we get the luck we were devoid of Friday night, we can beat Ipswich next Saturday who have got off to a flyer as have a few others but from what I've seen there's no one who Leeds should be scared of but yes we do urgently need additions.

Will we go for a RB given we very nearly signed Aarons? Or was that just us letting Farke sign an ex player for the sake of it? 10+ mil was hardly a steal so surely we're in for a Drameh replacement.

Need 2 strikers, would get one proven and perhaps a gamble from overseas hoping for another Gyokeres/Piroe type.

Need a 10 if we insist on the the xmas tree formation for the 5th manager running

Need 2 centre backs. Only takes Struijk or Cresswell to pickup a lenghty injury or another to be banned. No taking chances

Still need a pair of Central midfielders, one defensive and the other box to box. Our depth there is awful and we still have another 43+ league games and 2 cup competitions.

Won't sign a LB. We have Struijk, Firpo, Hjelde and Byram who can all play there. We haven't the time or savy to go find a decent one.

Lb, cm x 2, AM/playmaker and striker would do for me.

But can see reasoning for more.

Can't see us signing another centreback, cooper is out for six weeks and we have creswell, struijk Roden, as well as Hjelde who is a centre back and ayling who can play there.

Not a priority position.

Think we need a striker, a winger and a central midfielder as a matter of urgency.

After that I'd use the loan market to pad out the squad a bit and add a little depth where we can, another midfielder, a left back andaube anotjer attacker

Anyone know if Oscar Bobb will be allowed to
go out on loan this season? Would love him.

Yeah, would be a great loan signing but not sure Pep would want to see him go. Ask a City fan.

If we get Taylor at LB, Archer at ST, and Kamara at CM I would be happy. That's solid recruitment. Brownhill at CM would be better, but less likely.

10 is the one I'm particularly worried about. I don't like Summerville there, and whilst Rutter could be good its banking a lot on a player who has only shown flashes. Wouldn't hurt to go and try and pick up someone like Chair from QPR.

Linked to Myrto Uzuni. 28 year old Albanian scored 23 goals in 38 games in the Spanish second division. Also linked to Southampton and Brentford. Has a 21 million release clause which is a bit ridiculous for a 28 year old.

Yep, he’s our manπŸ‘. Plenty of time left yet. Transfer window doesn’t close for another 14,000-odd minutes. Season doesn’t really start until September anyway. 49ers are silently working unbelievable hard in the background. Kinnear is guilty of nothing other that a few silly comments in his programme notes. Give the guy a break.

We need a striker & creative midfielder as absolute necessities.

Also another experienced, quality centre-half would be good & another holding midfielder. We also suddenly appear short of wingers.

Regarding left-back, I'm having to rub my eyes at mentions of Charlie Taylor. The Yorkshire Willy Gnonto. People seem to have very short memories.

Taylor should not be allowed anywhere near our club ffs.

No thanks to Williams either, think that's clear lazy journalism. He's schum through & through, apparently hates Leeds. No thanks to him either.

Another thing I'd like to add is we need signings before Saturday, not just by the end of the window. We're throwing points away & will continue to do so with the squad as it stands. I understand it's a long season but you can't afford to give teams 10 to 15 point head starts if you want to achieve anything. The clock is ticking.

5 players needed in 10 days, that means we need 2 in by Wednesday. How exciting πŸ˜…

I'll bet Kinnear is dusting off his A to Z of excuses right now ready to wheel out when the window slams shut. You can bet outbound transfers don't take this long. GFH 2.0 will love those.

I’ll put it out there now, I don’t think we’re doing much in these 2 weeks.

Put it back in again, Jonty

Worth pointing out that anti-loan rhetoric is fundamentally flawed and used well they can be very, very effective.
