Wonder who’s next when Ten Hag is sacked. Eventually we’ll get back to SAF like when you get back to the first penalty taker in a long shootout.

Probably Conte knowing us.

Doesn’t mean anything to me. They are both terrible footballers.

It should mean something to you. It should mean he isn't sh*t. How many league games has he played for us now, two isn't it.

The first two of many shiiiit games.

Having two pressing midfielders means fack all when we don't press as a team.
We basically have two headless chickens sprinting in random directions, its not a press by any stretch of the imagination and a kids school team could pass through it.

At least Onana has looked good. So refreshing to see a keeper not panic under pressure

But just imagine how good our midfield would look with Bissouma in it?

He's an excellent striker of the ball, so his crossing ability could be a handy option from the right, especially when Hoijlund is in the team as his movement in the box looks really good. It seems that Mount's best Chelsea form often came from the sides rather than through the middle, too.

It would certainly make a hell of a lot more sense to move MM to the right rather than Bruno.

---------------------------------------

You've no idea how much it infuriates me to see people suggesting a player we signed to play in midfield should maybe play wide.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Trust me I do! I had doubts about the Mount signing when we were being linked and having watched every minute of preseason and the first two PL games any optimism I had that his signing might be an important if unspectacular cog in the machine is being tested.

But it's also annoying seeing Bruno shifted to the right when we have others more suited to moving over there (Mount, Sancho).

Will be interesting to see the bigger expensive flop between Havertz and Mount this season.

He’d have to take the job if offered as he’s never been able to pass on anything.

I gave ETH two years when he started, by that time things will align, chelsea will sack poch for only coming in 2nd, and he will take the reign at utd, fufilling his destiny.

Mount isn’t a midfielder, and if you argue he is, he certainly isn’t the midfielder we needed.

Maddison was available for less - bizarre signing from United, the guy is no better than Antony

Won't matter who they put in charge. The structure at the club is still all wrong.

Ed Woodward was a disaster that lasted 9 years. Their solution? Give the job to his Uni mate and number two. 😂

He's definitely not the player we needed.

ETH is on thin ice now. Very thin ice as his signings are threatening to set up back another 3-4 years.

Ten hags a good coach, but his signings have been hit and miss (mostly miss). He really favours going for players he's either worked with before, or shares an agent with.

Bizare transfer to begin with. I don't think Eth is gonna be In charge long term. I just don't think he's good enough, his singings are just bizarre mostly.

The Glazers have become an easy excuse for our horrendous transfer dealings over the past decade.

ETH has spent 364 quid since he took over. Only Chelsea have spent more since he took over and unlike the Chelsea managers, ETH has actually had a say in who we signed.

It was ETH's decision to spend 140m on Antony and Mount. Granted he has no control over the fees but he made it clear to the board these were his first choices.

Why didn't he use the money to prioritise a top class CM instead? Why have we ended up with an unproven 19 year old striker despite spending a third of a billion?
