Spurs didn't make it look easy at all. We should have been 3-0 up before they even got going.

Rashford n Bruno missed golden chances and we had a stonewall pen denied at 0-0.

The final score doesn't really tell the full story. Woeful finishing from us made it look more comfortable for them than it actually was.

Our XG for the first two games is also over 6. We just haven't been taking chances.

2-1 or 3-1 to United is my prediction. We aren't Sheff Utd. 👍

Minor correction but it was 0-4 not 0-3 in our First division title winning season, doubt we’ll see a repeat of that.
Now feels like a good time to be playing Utd, rumours of discontent off the field never bode well for activities on the field.
I believe with the right mindset we have a chance of at least a point, having said that Cooper all too often goes into his shell and sets up for a dour defensive performance, which also doesn’t usually work.
Agree Man U ain’t Sheff U, and if they click they could absolutely swamp us, but the last thing we should do is sit back.
Pick an attacking formation and try and force them back, Mount will definitely be missing, but they have some very good replacements, Mctominay (sp ??) for one, imo not a lot different too Yates.
I feel quite hopeful before kick off, but also remember we lost 10-0 over four games last season, but Utd were in better form then.
Forest to grab a point.

Best time to play us. We are not taking the chances and if we had, Spurs wouldn't have won. But that's the way the game is played.

That was some Forest team which won 4-0 at OT in their promotion season didn’t you win the league that year as well. Total legend Cloughie pity our board never had the guts to give him the United job but at least we found our own legend in Fergie.

Think Saturday the first goal will be critical to either give us some of our seemingly missing self belief or fill you with the same, not expecting an easy game for sure.

Yes; but our average at the moment is 1 in 20. So I’m clutching at other straws:
Either Erickson who doesn’t last much beyond 70 mins or McTominay who isn’t as creative likely to replace Mount.
Casemiro not at last season’s level.
Rashford not as effective through the middle.
