F**king buzzing for this.
Title challenge here we come
Anyone think this is gonna be a good signing?
---------------
I don't think it can be a bad one. There's no real risk attached, and even based on last season I think he's better than Malacia. When Shaw returns it allows us to be a bit more comfortable with moving him into CB if needed.
And in the spirit of being optimistic, let's not forget that the Cucurella that played for Brighton looked a brilliant player - the reason City and Chelsea wanted him in the first place. Very difficult to judge anyone in Chelsea's set up last season.
Shaw just like Varane are injury prone. If we're a club that has its footballing priorities right, this season is when we begin to phase both out

Tbf to Cucurella as well, he had a bad case of tonsillitis last season and lost a fair bit of weight which wouldn't have helped him.
I thought he was absolutely woeful last season, granted so were chelsea but he was especially poor IMO.
Chelsea is asking for £7m apparently
He was absolutely dreadful for us,but he can only get better surely !...........please give it a try.
Not too bothered about this one.
should be asking them for money to take him on loan they get a loan fee out of u for him be worse than paying 60m for mount
that said he was a good player for Brighton, the right system he might be again. Can't get any worse than he was last season anyway.
We need another small player to lessen our height further at set pieces against us so I say bring him in.

He was no worse than our back up for Shaw was.
If it doesn't prevent us doing other bits of business we could otherwise conclude, I'm all for it. Gives us strength in depth at LB, with the knock-on effect of freeing Shaw as the progressive CB if Lisandro is out.
We’ve made an enquiry for Hojbjerg, so there’s your midfielder.
Mount, Cucurella and Hojbjerg
Let’s hope Hoijlund is good.

this shaw injury long then? bit of a strange move this.
He was sh-t last season but so was everyone at Chelsea. Shaw is a key player for us and EtH clearly doesn't trust our youth to cover the role so a loan makes sense but it's still a risk. He has attibutes similar to Shaw to makes sense in that respect.
I think bringing in a DM (Amrabat) would make a big difference and I just hope any loan for a LB doesn't affect our ability to bring one in.

I said if we could get Mount, Cucurella and Hojbjerg we'd be credible title challengers this year
It’s not strength in depth of the depth is shiyte though, we already have that in Malacia.
Really has been a brilliant window

Long enough. Shaw always takes a whIle to get back up to speed.
If we were getting Cucurella a year ago I'm sure most fans would be creaming themselves. You don't become sh-t in the space of a year, especially when joining the mess Chelsea were in last season.
I don't get Hojbjerg, he's not that great and would cost a bit. Did he play under EtH for the Bayern B side?
Let's not forget:
Antony
Malacia
Weghorst
Our player recruitment hasn't improved whatsoever. Plainly obvious that nothing is going to radically change until the club is sold.

Uniteds summer business has been shocking
Decent keeper
Massively overrated Chelsea bench warmer
Project striker
And now potentially signing a couple more bench warmers from the sides that finished 8th and 10th last season
I’m loving the new United
"Did he play under EtH for the Bayern B side?"
Looking at their Wiki pages, EtH was manager of Bayern II between 2013-15 and Hojbjerg played for them between 2012-14, so yes he did.
