OP do you think we should be rivalling Spurs for Rodrygo?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't think I've mentioned about needing a forward at all during the summer. We desperately need a CM and CB.
That said however, if Salah does leave then he woukd be an option along with Kvaratskhelia.
In addition, with news that Bradley is out injured, should we be in the market for another RB?
I'd say we get a centre back in, preferably left-footed and Gomez remains second choice right back since TAA barely misses games anyhow and we'll then have five centre backs for two places.
Another midfielder would be nice but seeing Bajcetic back in the squad I don't think it would be a disaster if we didn't get one.
hes not a dm, and im happier with ama and dom
for depth? sure would be nice to have
I'm really happy with the players we have brought in but we are left with the smallest squad in the Premier League. I hope we have Andre lined up for January and Palacios from Leverkusen would be good if we can persuade Xabi to do us a favour!!!!
I fear we are going to end up being hamstrung by injuries so to speak....

Should have bought him last summer. Big opportunity missed imo.

Glad we agree on this 1 👍

No link to any rumours that our business is done then?

Signing just 3 players for a net spend of 50m on the back of last seasons failures and losing 7 players. For a club of our stature, the level of competition around us and where we want to be then its nothing short of negligence.
As for Nunes, good signing for city at a good price considering what wolves paid and wanted. They are giving them a youth talent for peanuts though too, which is prob why wolves have changed their stance on the 47m.

He's not ideal. I still think we should be looking at specialist DMs. Doucoure or Kamara for example.
Eight players out with three in.
It just doesn't add up.
I'm hoping for the CB, which Klopp is on record stating he wanted , but I fear another Kabak/Melo/Davies panicky debacle.

Are we including youth players and loans?

We are also getting a Centre Back for £8m that has a £20m buy out clause from a club owned by Man Cheaty. 💰

Know a couple of Wolves fans who have all said he's good but nothing special and aren't really fussed about losing him.
Will be interesting to see how he gets on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is good, but he hasn't really performed for us. We won't really miss him due to that. He is at his best when carrying the ball from deep, taking players on and running into spaces. I'm not sure he'll get much of that at City and he hasn't been very creative in the final third for us. Loads of potential there though.
In terms of the deal, we also got Tommy Doyle for about £10 million less than you would expect and a centre back from Girona we had been after for £8 million, even though his release clause is £20 million. Girona are owned by the City group. So I think they have dealt in player deals above the £47 million to make it up to Wolves' evaluation.

Price seems okay from the rumours going around. Seems dependant on Munich getting Palhinha though. So from Klopp wanting his business done in time for preseason we are left hoping another team can do business with 36 hours left in the transfer window
Sometimes I really struggle to see what enjoyment some people get from “supporting” a football team!! I’m pleased with the players we’ve bought, not the ones we ‘should have’ bought. Some exciting options in the middle, a bit of experience and some young talent. Sure we could always have more, but let’s try supporting what we’ve got!!
