Lenglet is having a medicos at Villa. Sanchez is our first reserve CB for the season. Let that sink in Levy Lovers.
We’ll negotiate BJ down to the wire and whether we get him or not, that’s us done - another manager left woefully short by the despicable Levy and disgraceful THFC board.

Well that's nice but the others resume's tell a different story... With that said, delighted with Ange at Spurs
The transfer window has been open since 14/6, but as usual it’s all a last minute rush.
I think we will try and get a CB in but at least 1 has to go.
first. We cannot go into the season with Romero VDV + new CB as the top choices with Dier Sanchez Tanganga burning through wages while not playing.
The CM options will improve with the return of Bentancur. I dont think we'd loan PEH to Utd unless we had someone coming in to replace him, and we'd want a fee from a "rival", so don't see that happening.
Similar with GLC in that he is the only natural replacement for Mads, so unless we have someone lined up, he stays for now - Biss, Sarr, PEH, Bents, Mads, GLC is decent options.
Think we will add another striker and Johnson looks like the target. £50m is too much and his stats are not amazing but i think people would very pleasantly surprised to see a far more mobile and pacey player up front instead of Richy.
So overall, just a striker as a likely deal with others depending on outgoings.

was my point on another thread yesterday.... Levy the khant has had since June to get rid of the shat and sign the required players.
100% we will still have Sanchez, Dier, Ndombele, others stinking out the place. Ange will be left short and when the injuries come he will be forced to use the shat as he will have no choice.

The other interesting point after getting knocked out on Tues we currently will play the fewest games in total of any other Prem team this season. I was quite sad about that to be honest.
However some would see that an advantage to improve and make ground on others but we won't and will feck it up as expected .......... I have no doubt on that score...... oh the joys of supporting Tottenham never rains does it....

Devonshire, I think Ange likes Sanchez, so assume he will be back up. I don`t think Ange will be letting Sanchez leave. Dier and Tanganga both need to be leaving, but are their any takers?
I suspect Spurs just won`t be able to move many on. No club wants them. Probably either give them away or tear up their contracts.

When you say getting rid. You first of all have to have clubs that want them. Can you name any players from the starting XI, from the Fulham debacle that others clubs will be rushing to sign? I mean who would want to pay money for the likes of Dier, Tanganga, Davies, Skipp, Lo Celso etc.

No quite true, supposing Spurs have a good FA Cup run, that could involve half a dozen games. Although as it stands looks like a 40 game season.
I read somewhere that Brennan Johnson was the fastest player in the PL last year, you can never have enough pace in your team and will be a decent signing imo.

Yeah..... I have a sneaky feeling is that Johnson is probably better than people think in a better team surrounded by better players. I also think the way Ange plays will suit him.
Im Indifferent Re PEH. I don't think he should start but he's been very effective in coming on to help close games out. I would understand if he wanted to leave for more minutes. I think Man United's FFP and Take over issues might stop them spending big.
Agree Re a CB. I'd like to see Philips given a chance but I feel like Laporte was the one we let get away when the Tapsoba deal looked dead... would have liked him at Spurs... was an obvious u/g on Lenglet
How will people react if we don’t sign a single player now? Will the ultimate Levy sympathises Devonshire and Sandy actually give the club some stick for once? I can see us signing nobody despite us desperately needing a forward and CB
