Overcoming my natural Hebridean reticence to say what a joy is Derby 606. A change of scene from endless crofting, fishing and fine wines, and an opportunity to "virtually" meet all sorts of interesting people. Long may it continue 🐏

Elliot Embleton, sounds like a character from children's fiction.
Would have accepted £3M in a heartbeat for Cashin. He isn't that good. Makes too many errors.

Are you sure you’re watching the same player everyone else is?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, just I am more honest. He is strong, brave, works hard but distribution is his main weakness, gives the ball away a bit too much for comfort. Over the last 10 years I would rank him as probably our 4th or 5th best. central defender. My ratings:
Tomori
Keogh
Davies
Buxton
Cashin
He has youth on his side in a position where players don't really blossom until their late twenties. That is no guarantee of improvement though. I thought Miles Addison would become a good central defender.
I think that list is fair, Spart.
Particularly Keogh who always seemed to attract an undue degree of criticism.
I would have Cashin just above Buxton. His distribution is infinitely better than Davies but the latter knew his limitations. Cashin needs to learn to do the simple thing more often.
Morning/afternoon fellow Rams. Here’s hoping for a good performance which leads to another 3 points. 🐏🐏🐏
I was surprised to hear R Derby not rate Cashin highly, in the sense he's not going to get much better than what you see now. 'A rush and kick type of defender ' is what Ed Dawes referred to him as.

It’s all about opinions, Cashin is still young and he’s got plenty of time to improve. Whether he does or not is another matter.
Derby County: Wildsmith (GK), Forsyth, Hourihane (C), Waghorn, Mendez-Laing, Smith, Washington, Elder, Fornah, Rooney, Nelson.
Substitutes: Vickers (GK), Cashin, Bradley, Barkhuizen, Collins, John-Jules, Radcliffe
Utterly predictable 1-2 win with NML scoring in the 38th minute............Hardly worth paying attention.

STOP IT
Good to see Barkhuizen fit again …
The Prof has signed on a permanent for Stevenage
I like what Tyrese has to say so far, very confident. If he plays how he describes himself he could become a favourite very quickly.
What's the latest on Sibley? He was due to return before Barkhuizen.
