Piroe has looked a carthorse so far. Early days but his first touch at times yesterday brought back memories of Carlton Palmer. His lack of movement in the box and desire to get in the box yesterday was concerning.
Bored of the moronic shoooooot calls every time Ampadu had the ball 25-35 yards out. It was always on his right foot and one was when the ball was in the air bouncing around.
Ampadu has 1 goal in 134 games!

Take a chill pill, it's way too early to get into panic mode. This team has just come together in the past few weeks. The club has been a train station and this must have been unsettling for the players. Added to this is the Owls came to do a job and brought their own ref with them.
Teams will park the bus but I am convinced we will break them down, once players get to know each other's style.
Piroe was played out of position yesterday, that's true, but you can see the reason Farke tried it. Rutter sill play behind him, in future.
We still have to see what Gruev and Kamara and Anthony will bring to the team. As for Sini, if he had played yesterday, he would have been clobbered by that Wednesday back four, and would now be out for another six weeks. He's like a Porsche in a traffic jam. Pointless.
No team in this league will be 100% satisfied with what they have. It's what you make of your talent that counts, and we are pretty well equipped to make an impact this season. Farke has done an amazing job, in my view, to bring in players fit for purpose, and to clear out all the pretty boys. Top six by the end of October. You heard it first here.

Not the point at all, and you know it, Ipswich didn't defend tin numbers and we won, it doesn't excuse what went on on Saturday and our inability to break teams who defend in numbers but obviously the likes of Norwich aren't going to play five across the back.
I recall under Bielsa we had the same issue didn't we not and often lost games to sucker punch goals.
Looked back at articles from 2019 and 2020, both good seasons, both seasons under Bilelsa and we had the same issue. Teams defending in numbers and hitting us on the counter attack. As I said the better teams, didn't park the bus and we had a much better win ratio.
Not necessarily a problem.

Piroe is a poacher. Should be deployed that way. Problem was I cant think of one decent cross into the box on Saturday.

Teams didn't park the bus against Swansea. Piroe would have had space in behind whereas the opposition we face are packing there own half out. Having said that, he should get more service and chances with us.
The comment I'm still scratching my head about is the one saying about midfielders scoring ..... we don't have any attacking midfielders. Gray and Ampadu are good at what they do, as will Gruev and Kamara, but they aint Klich in regards to goals.

Sorry Jonty my friend, that wasn't supposed to be a comment on your post it was towards Light, who had so wound me up I had just lost it.
It struck me that, since I'd challenged him for the way he'd way singled out Dark Knight for a typo, he'd started going through every one of my posts, singling out any innucuous comment, quite bullying in fact.
I think people need to be very wary of the guy and his behaviour.
I just popped in today looking for instructions on how to delete my account because, at my age, and noted in my anger I'd posted in the wrong place. Sorry.

I don't condone abuse in here, it's usually directed at myself and I ignore it mostly, but when someone wants to leave I always think its a shame, can always get heated in here at time and sometimes we just need a breather, to step away.....I think all of us here add value in some way to someone, so hope Els realises that, take a little time out and comes back stronger.
