Part of it is Arsenal afraid to press. They knew from the start that if they press too much we could counter, as per our goal. They're now afraid of it happening again. So they are sitting back, and we are struggling to get through them

I like Mount but he can't play the role Eriksen is playing today

Casemiro is dropping into CB to help us build possession so Eriksen is holding the midfield line on his own. Bruno and Mount don't have the discipline to do that role, even though they are far stronger physically than Eriksen

I don't think we've done badly at all really. Arsenal haven't created much (neither have we) and we go in level. At least we now have given ourselves a chance. If we had more movement up top I can see us getting a chance to win this still.

With Onana, we look like having an extra defender. Unfortunately, Lindelof cancels that advantage every time he receives the ball.

But he would press more than Martial, and can knock long balls down to Rashford, bruno and Antony. We can pass though them, might as well go route one.

There was a time Martial was good.

We’ve got arguably our best possession players on so we really need to tidy up on the ball. Bruno playing Hollywood passes after we’ve spend the previous few minutes recovering the ball doesn’t help matters and the defenders and GK need better movement ahead of them so we can get the ball forward a bit. We’re getting ourselves a little bit stuck in possession at the back and then having to go long anyway.

Overall a decent first half. Dalot has handled Saka very well and Antony to his credit has made the ball stick. There’s more goals in this game for both teams but I’d like to see us control the ball a bit more in their half.

This is our issue, we have players who do pretty well in the middle third, on and off the ball, but produce no numbers. Then we have Rashford who does sod all other than a couple of times a game but manages to make things happen,

We just need better quality (confidence and tactically as much as anything) all round to play the style ETH wants.

Hope to god this Hoijlund fella is decent.

No idea where mount fits into this team.

You can see why we've done so badly away from home. Mentally absolutely terrified - we seem to prefer to try and waste time rather than actually take the initiative.
