Hojlund was a positive for me. A physical presence up front will help immensely.

He knows that but left Højlund out deliberately to be provocative. We all all know his MO.
It'll be another season wasted with the Glazers
Onana very comfortable as well, makes it look so easy to pass out of defence. If it wasn't for a few inches, we'd be lauding Garnacho. Hojlund looked very physical when he cam on, he's certainly going to hold the ball up well
Good shift from Antony and yet absolutely zero creativity. Nothing productive at all. What's new eh? Not like he's an £85m forward is it and one of the most expensive players we've ever signed.

Didn't need to read the article to know it was effectively about Højlund.
He put himself about, but hardly anything to get excited about just yet.
Awb is the best tackler I haver ever seen. Yes, ever.
Just hope Martinez isn’t going to be out for too long
Don’t think I could stomach seeing what lies ahead if he is
I'd be worried if I was you I thought you were terrible, apart from Rashford the rest of your attack is sub standard other than your new forward he at least tried to battle.

He is very, very good at that. The rest of his game needs a lot of improvement
Thought united were OK, Rashford again the most dangerous player
The only positive is that there is now an international break
With Hojlund we might actually win some long balls.

Yes, this is my main worry today. Losing an away game in is just what we do.
I am sorry that was a shocking game of football from us.
1 year plus with this manager what is our style? We have no philosophy. We are still a counter attacking team.
This manager was talking about eras coming to an end, he is ending nothing!!

For 100 mins your forwards were the same with the exception of Martinelli who at least put in a few crosses. Saka, the great hope, was pocketed by a back up right back playing left back.

A positive…..
We were this close to winning the game

Negatives, not the best football, but I thought we have good as we got second half and probably looked the more likely to score.
We’re absolutely decked at CB, and it was obvious all fecking summer.d

What does this mean?
This close to winning the game. We lost 3-1
It should have been 2-1 with Garnacho that wasn’t offside. Players were level, Gabriel has his head leaning back.
I thought both teams were poor but in an attacking sense Arsenal were so unimaginative. Not title challengers this year for sure.

You for real? That offside can go either way, pretty crazy for VAR to overturn it from an obscure angle, clearly making up for the penalty.
We lost 3-1, but that doesn’t tell the full story. Could easily have been 1-2 and their third was a nothing goal when we went into kamikaze mode; that happens.
Also, thought Hoijlund looked positive. Some real aggression and directness to his play, worked hard to get into everything, made everything difficult for defenders, played a big part in Garnachos disallowed goal.
I’m not sure how much of a goal threat he will be, but I think we will see more from players around him.
Offside cant go either way.they use calibrated technology.
Season is practically a write off already with 2 defeats.
