The offside was certainly not clear, the angle made it impossible to tell to be honest. I’ve looked at it a few times and can only come to the conclusion his shoulder is offside?

I never watch United, unless I absolutely have to, however, apparently the Havertz penalty today was very similar to one Rashford was given last week?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure about that. Rashford was clipped by the Forest defender, whereas Havertz clearly deliberately initiates the slight contact today before throwing himself down. Having said that, AWB shouldn't have left his leg out and I am surprised it was overturned
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He didn’t leave his leg out, he pulled it away and that’s why it was overturned I reckon.

The offside decision was correct but the offside rule is BS. In that situation you can’t rule a goal out but that’s the law. The penalty one I’ll never understand why it got turned over. Havertz is ahead of his defender, how is he even able to tell where the defender’s leg is? AWB leg is clearly in the way. Awful decision. But it’s a good job Arsenal are a much better team than Man Utd. Any other PL opposition and I doubt we’d get the winner.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You'll never understand how a dive was overturned? Ok mate lol. He was expecting contact so was ready to go down, the replay was pretty clear
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok so Havertz has eyes at the back of his head now? The fact it’s even a discussion shows it’s not even a clear and obvious decision which is what VAR is for.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The ref thought AWB caught him when he put his leg in, the replay showed it was Havertz that made contact after that........ It was very minimal contact anyway, certainly not enough to bring him down
Offside decision was correct, can see that clearly from both angles.
Only Arsenal get that penalty overturned against them though.
When you push the ball forward and accelerate in to space it doesn't take much to knock you off balance so you fall over. Two defenders cutting across you from both sides, clothes-lining you with their legs and clipping yours will do it for sure.
That wouldn't be overturned against Man Utd in a million years.
Get up, brush yourselves off, study what really went wrong, work 5x harder in midweek, come back stronger. That's what great clubs do.
When you have an excuse every time something goes wrong, you end up breeding a losing mentality. United need to steer well clear of that path.

It's certainly less offside than the one when Rashford scored against Liverpool last season when they came out after the game saying they had made the lines bigger and if they touch, offside won't be given due to the bigger margin they implemented. I've never seen one the same since it.
I don't believe that screenshot is correctly in line with Gabriel and Garnacho. Looks slightly out of place

Tbh it's very tight but in these situations, we don't have access to all angles and I think you just have to assume those with that access have come to the correct decision. Clearly it's very close but no point crying over what is presumably a correct decision, it won't impact the result anyway
