Still doesn't prove anything, it looked a penalty even in the slow mo replays. So the question is what exactly did he see that changed his mind...
It was a soft pen. But you see them given all the time, so it’s yet again a consistency issue. Not a clear and obvious error to give it, so probably should have stood going by that. But it was a bit soft so not too annoyed we didn’t get it
It was a deserved result for us, we were clearly the better team over the game, impressed with our response to going a goal down and us going for it until the final whistle. Some concerns still remain about the defence seemingly worse than last season, and the attack isn’t quite clicking. I hope this game is the spark to get us properly going again, really felt like we needed a big early moment this season and hopefully this is it. A loss would have felt quite damaging

Really you thought it looked a pen?
Okay but to me it like AWB never touched him and it was Havertz who initiated contact while he was already going down
I can understand why the pen may look "soft", but that kind of pen will be given every other week this season in the league and we were unlucky to be on the wrong end of the decision in this instance. It's the inconsistency that does your head in.
I disagree though that Havertz had no reason to go down. For a player low on confidence like him, trying to "win" the penalty seemed the easier option than actually taking responsibility to move through on goal and score.
The one on Hojlund from Gabriel was more of a pen. That's given as a freekick anywhere else on the pitch.
Thought Arsenal played the better football but in the end were fortunate to win as the offside call is so close that not even the still shots are conclusive on that.
Fine margins in football as you say. Today they went your way. Other days they won't.
Should have been booked for diving. Hojlund was a clear penalty shoved to the ground defender never even tried to play the ball.
Man Utd were by far the better side in the 2nd half and if Rashford didn’t mess every great chance up we would have been out of sight. I checked and Garnacho was onside they just drew the line 1 yard wrongly to make Garnacho offside.😂 I even checked on my phone and if you see the only player that sticks out is the Arsenal player.
Arsenal one was never a penalty, it should have been a yellow for diving. I watched it real-time as well and was shocked a pen was given as AWB did nothing.
I am surprised how the media portrayed Arsenal being better when they were getting battered 2nd half. Arteta even said to his team after Garnacho goal to stay back for rest of the game as they were getting caught on the counter time and again.

Manu were far better? What game were you watching. You low blocked and countered. Your tactics were no different from when Forest came to the Emirates a couple of weeks ago.
Go check the raw stats. Arsenal had more shots, more possession, more corners.
On another day it would have been 5-1.
Personally, I don't think you should be getting penalties for that sort of thing.
But I am astounded it was overturned. If that was Rashford or Salah, refs wouldnt have overturned.

Sorry mate but this is a healthy duel. Nothing in it.
Lindelöf should have seen the red card by a duel earlier in the game against Eddie.
Arsenal never was a pen, Man Utd should have had a clear penalty. Man Utd mullered Arsenal 2nd half and would have won if the correct decisions were made. Evans was rugby fouled for Arsenal 2nd goal and Hojlund was rugby fouled in the box, Garnacho clearly onside but they drew the line 1 yard wrong side of Garnacho.
That ref is same ref who sent off Caswmiro for winning the ball and denied us 3 clear penalties against Southampton. I knew were finished when I saw he is the ref. We beat Arsenal and lost due to him.

Watching it live I'm not really sure how you've come to that conclusion. You had about a 10 minute spell where we on the back foot other than that I thought you were one dimensional lacking in any imagination. I could of been watching exactly the same fixture last season you've made no progress. We were well worth the win anybody with an objective viewpoint can see that.
Ten Hag was desperate to change the subject by throwing out every conspiracy theory possible because his tactics have been found out.
Havertz did dive. There was contact but that doesn't.ea he didn't still dive. However, the way the game is officiated these days then it would have been consistent for them to give the penalty.
Utd still couldn't beat an Arsenal that haven't really clicked yet this season. They will eventually once Arteta plays a more conventional back 4 and midfield.
The fact that Utd fans take yesterday as progress is worrying for them.
Well when Saka deserves a straight red card early in the game and nothing. Man Utd denied a stonewall penalty and a good goal and Arsenal score 2nd goal from a clear foul and that foul actually was the reason a goal was scored tells you what you need to know.
Its crazy how many pens we get denied against Arsenal and red cards Arsenal get away with. Lokonga smashed Fernandes and Jesus did same with Martinez first half at OT last season, both red cards and nothing.
Hafi really cannot stand losing to arsenal
Only weak club/fan mentality play the victim card. We had plenty of that when Wenger started to lose interest.
It happens every game against Arsenal. Arsenal great record at the Emirates against Man Utd is due to corrupt officiating. Remember Emery won 2-0 and Arsenal got a penalty for a clear dive.
Hafi. You are so one dimensional and delusional. Your lot had the rub of the green under Fergie. Remember Rooney cheating for a penalty to end our unbeaten run at the toilet. Nistelrooy raking his studs down Cole. Nevilles and Scholes attacking Reges. So many more instances of thuggery which you care to forget or maybe you weren't even born. Face it mate united are paying now for the years of fear under Fergie and frankly the rest of the leagues fans are living it. Erik Ten HAG is an LVG lite.
