R/H- Sorry, im just clarifying that the whole of football is cashing in on Saudi investment, i dont have an issue with it.
The only thing im owning is yes the owners of Cfc have done and do continue to do business with Saudi Arabia, but hello, they are not on their own with that.
Saudi paid £12m for a player surplus to requirements at 33 who only started 23 league games last year for liverpool and doesn't play for their national team.
Much better deal than what we got for any of our players.
You can deny it all you want but you just seem to be on a warpath this morning and coming across quite bitter
doesn't play for their national team.
=======
He's literally just been called up to the England squad.
As said, some people on here will say absolutely anything. I'll leave you to it.

lets see how many games he starts.
If you can tell me what one was more fishy than jordan henderson than please do.
The only one is kouliably for about £18m and even then after one year he still has a good reputation as a top cb
also no way henderson has been picked by southgate
I genuinely didn't know tbf. just had a look, no ward prowse, and kalvin phillips is in. fack me
Oh ok 12m for hendo is fine, but 30/40m for three players from Cfc is well dodgy?
Next Salah will at some point, be going to Saudi, he is a muslim, he will see it as an honor, the fee will be in the region of 200m.
Oh but thats fine
Cfc taking on shirt sponsorship from a Saudi company is a total disgrace.???
Are you guys real, ?

Gaffer, tbf to the club, the Saudi investment into
Clearlake has already been looked into by the EPL.
It found that Saudi investment accounts for aprx 6 % of its investor portfolio.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
dont even think it's that high. It's not worth talking to pranks btw. Not sure if you already knew that or not. Him/kash/Kls and mamba from the liverpool board.
Much better off talking to robbing and a few others.

My comment was about Saudi state ownership in Clear lake and now the potential state owned Saudi sponsorship.
Surely even you can connect those dots.
If there is a significant conflict of interest then it's really embarrassing for the Premier league and British government who were tasked with vetting and clearing our forced sale.

I'm sure the same was said of the FA when City was bought however long ago it was, yet we now see 115 charges on their doorstep.
These rules are open to being gamed, it doesn't take a genius to spot that

completely unlinked and different scenarios.
But the conflict of interest should have blocked the purchase. Nobody claims that City's owners had conflicts of interest at their point of purchase. It's apples and oranges you're comparing.
I think they're similar enough to warrant a comparison actually
I get that you're focusing on the conflict part, fair enough, but ultimately it smells like a proxy for state ownership, even if partially
If there is one thing the Premier League and Tories are well known for it's due diligence on multimillion pound deals.

It does absolutely stink if we're honest, much like some of the sales.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
what sales would they be robbing? We sold like 6 players to saudi for about 30m lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The players you sold Nik, obviously. May be they would've happened anyway, may be not, but it doesnt alter the fact it'sa clear conflict of interests. It just stinks.
Same as Burnley getting a great deal on a international centre back from a City Group club as a sweetener for a very nice price on Nunes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Could you please explain the first part about City, who are you talking about? Is £53m really a nice price on Nunes? I thought it was about right tbh. I have mainly only seen criticism of the price in the media.
