Easier to defend yourself on he say she say. It is also clear this is the end of antony and this woman, not the case for MG. Carry on though

Whilst Antony could well be a skumbag he is at least doing and saying things that I would expect an innocent man to do. I do think an interview was ill-advised though. It is a stark contrast to our other player accused of similar.

Just let it go. The player is gone. Get age fans happy to have him. Just move on man.

Completely different circumstances with the obvious everyone knowing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the comparison is valid.

I agree they're different scenarios at present though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Very easy to make your initial comment now. After what happened to Greenwood, yes, I too will be out all gun blazing crying out my innocence from the start like Antony is doing.

The big difference here being this is going to go down to he said she said. He has now come out to state it was her that was being physically violent towards him.

Greenwood had to thread on completely different waters with the damning audio heard by the public, I don't see the comparisons at all
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't want to go down Greenwood route again but some would have you believe there's more to that audio. If there was something there that showed my innocence then I'd be sharing it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What if it showed your fiancee and moher of your child in a really bad light, maybe inviting pyscho fans to make threats?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He'd be delighted to do so , judging by the way he spoke to her.

Quite astonishing that we've gone from Greenwood, Sancho and Antony to potentially none of them.

I think United are making a rod for their own back, this way of dealing with things to appease the Rachel Rileys of the world is wrong!

The precedent has now been set that someone makes an allegation of abuse and the player protests his innocence but yet he’s suspended or as Utd would rather put it “given a leave of absence”!

It is valid, and like you say Antony is actually trying to defend himself MG never tried.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Im sure he and his legal team did try to defend himself. You just never got the phone call. But that doesnt mean it didnt happen.

The precedent has now been set that someone like Rachel opens her gob, outside the kitchen, we invite her around, giver her a knuckle sandwich and up Greenwood and Antony’s wages. I’m so happy with Andrew Tate Hag in charge at utd after the Qataris bought us.

Agreed, I wouldn’t want to play for Utd. Lots of crazy ex’s out there who can easily try to get a pay out with the threat of going public with potentially false allegations.

Had the Greenwood incident not happened, I’d have assumed the club knew Anthony was guilty. Plenty of players have had some sort of criminal allegations in the past and continued to play.

Gerrard for example hit somebody on camera and Liverpool didn’t give a toss.

I asked a female colleague of mine once if I go and tell management you slapped me today, should you be suspended? She said no.

She argued tooth and nail that Johnny Depp not having work whilst accused and not found guilty was correct.

She went home and told her dad, he dad told her your colleagues are absolutely correct in that he should work.

This is where we are gentlemen

As you say, Mason had to tread a different path in his situation. Namely breaking his bail to influence a witness, then getting her pregnant and proposing.

The obvious option for me, is shift Mount out there (when he’s back) and we can put Amrabat in CM with Casi.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eh.. when last has he looked decent as a right winger.? Or decent player even.

If you ask Chelsea fans he only ever looked good playing as part of a front 3.

He actually had 2 seasons where he did well in terms of goals and assists. He sure didn't achieve that playing the Eriksen role that's for sure. If that's where we've bought him to play it makes no sense.

But Chelsea fans voted him best player for two seasons. Wherever he was playing then seems the best for him.

The wing, like I said

In other news, Greenwood has broke the record for shirt sales at Getafe in only 48 hours.

If he has a good season, we can hopefully get a good fee from Spain, and everybody can move on.

Mount hasn't been signed to play the Eriksen role. We'd pivoted to a different midfield set up with Mount. Eriksen plays square to Casemiro. Mount has been playing square to Bruno with Casemiro holding behind them.

We can debate whether we think this will work or whether that's the right combination in midfield, but we shouldn't be saying that Mount has been signed for "the Eriksen role", because he hasn't.

It's no lie. It what used in evidence in a court of law in a case regarding her ex boyfriend. It was also commonly reported in the press at the time. When Gerrard was 20/21 he was with a 15 year old school girl. He would pick her up from school in his black BMW. Do a little research. It's all out there.
