Wasn't sure about Bellingham...& we don't see him week in week out..maybe he is the real deal (so to speak)
Mind you we thought that about Sancho too

Difference between Sancho and him is, he's already living up to his price tag by starting on fire for his new club with all that pressure on him, and has also been doing it for England. He's done more for Real Madrid than Sancho has done in his entire United career.
Don't think we need to worry about him being another Sancho.

Bellingham, like any young player, needs to be afforded the time and space for things to fall naturally into their place for him. Four games - or four months, for that matter - could still very easily prove to be a purple patch.
Countless players have made a flying start to their careers at a new club, only to fall short of the long term expectations created around them. Just remind yourself of how many times this has been the case at Spurs.
The club and manager would do well right now to try to play down the hype rather than feed it. If they're not doing so, I reckon it's because Bellingham's goals have served to paper over the cracks of a poor off-season where the club has once again risked the team balance just to pursue the elusive Mbappé.
Has Bellingham even been that good for Madrid? Goals can paper over performances that aren’t that good, especially for a midfielder.

As I said over on LaLiga thread, I haven't watch any of our games yet, Daz. Peks says his overall game hasn't really been all that, but I can't say for myself.
Hard to know with peks though because Bellingham’s English.
That said, Bellingham will be judged against some incredible Madrid midfielders so unless he becomes a goal machine he’s going to have to put in top performances or the Madrid fans and media will get on his back - as we saw with Bale.
And that happened with Bale despite his stats. Takes a strong character to deal with the expectations of a Real Madrid player.

Yeah, I took several stabs at trying to say that in a round-about kind of way, but sometimes the shortest way is the best.
And yes again, the expectations and demands at Madrid are beyond reasonable at the best of times. Making such a good goalscoring start could ironically end up backfiring on him, as that's almost inevitably going to be what he's measured against now.
I hope it doesn't lead him to feeling he *has* to get on the scoresheet, because as soon as he goes for the selfish option a couple of times instead of playing a simple layoff, the crowd will immediately be on his back.
It’s difficult to really pin down what kind of midfielder he is or will be. Which isn’t a surprise given his age. Seems to have the attributes to be anything, but how he develops will be interesting. Could be that he just becomes very well rounded, rather than a specialist.
theyll get him a far forward as they can, not sure thats a good thing for him though, theyd sooner use tcouhmeni valverde camavinga for midfield control

Apparently he's already scored more goals for Real than Hazard managed

Given the age of all the players that’s subject to change.

Yes I heard that.
As good as Bellingham's started that says more about Hazard than vice versa.
