The last thing I want to do is accuse you of accusing me of accusing people of being racist so let's not go there.

Because then someone may step in an accuse me of accusing you of accusing me of accusing people of being racist.

And I don't want that person to get accused of accusing me of accusing you of accusing me of accusing people of being racist.

said about 3/4 years ago on here that he would be the next star of your game.

Not really a claim that I was alone in but to me it was obvious. Played against us 2 year for Dortmund and he was already their driving force and the biggest talent in his team. Screaming at more expereinced players round him, bemoaning poor passes from his team mates.

You could see he was already the heartbeat of their team and the guy they all looked to. He is on track to become the best CM in the world and IMO one of the ebst England will ever produce. He is such a complete CM.

Was really poor against chelsea in both games last year, one where I was at, and the other I watched on tv.

Not a huge sample size of course, but impressed me for England and apparently tearing it up for Madrid.

Hes certainly getting harder to spot recently. Barry's style of satire these days involves using pretty much typical and regular, yet still daft, views and themes these days making it easier for him to continue just a bit longer than before.

Anyway another thread ruined.

That's why Hodgson's teams are so good to watch.

I can't quite put my finger on why the English media haven't hyped him to the levels of Kane, Rice, Mount etc. It was the same with Sterling, Rashford, Saka etc. Just don't get the same kind of hype. Nope, can't figure it out.

I think it shows you the drive and determination Bellingham has, moving to Germany at 17, captaining Dortmund at 19, moves to Real Madrid at 20 and already looks like a lynchpin of their side.

He is a leader and a great player.

He is going to dominate for years to come, the guy has the drive to be the very best and will put his plums on the line to get there.

It just shows how terrible la Liga is that this guy has taken the league by storm.
No better than Darren gibson

Yeh, he looks the business. I don't think that he will let himself be distracted by the riches coming his way.

He's escaped the early Brit media hype that's (rightly) coming his way now, seems a solid, level headed individual.

the spanish media are every bit as bad and are hyping him up the same way tbf

Can't believe he's only 20, his game, intelligence, physique, ability to get stuck in and eye for goal means he can play anywhere in midfield. Just gutted he refused Utd so many times, he'll only get better.

Much too early to tell how big he might be. Let's see first if he doesn't buy into his own hype a bit too much, or how he bounces back from a lengthy injury layoff, or a loss of form and all the criticism that will inevitably bring. It's often in the hard times that you get to tell what a promising kid is actually made of.

Seems to be playing up front for Madrid from what I've seen. Unsure if that's every game

Hype is the danger especially for one so young but so far so good. Let's hope the trajectory he's on continues. Guy seems too intelligent and level headed to get carried away.

Who is the front man, seems Jude has freedom but Rogrygo and Vinicius seem to be starting from wider positions?

Seems like he's got all the tools to go very far, just down to his own work ethic and attitude now.

its been V Jnr/Rodrygo/Joselu as a two ahead of bell.

hasnt been great tbf, hence why Bellingham has had to pop up with late winners in the last two games

Looks more and more likely that his best position will be as a 10, which is a shame for England as we’ve got plenty of them and barely any decent CMs

Agree, do feel he could be a top CM but ATM no10 is where he's most effective
