I think Burnley may have made the same mistake we made last year by trying to play the same way they played in the Championship. If that is the case I hope they don't change when they play us.
Following the window they have to blend in players quickly, we have to bring in new signings as well but we can afford to take a bit more time. We're playing well already.
Not too many changes in personel for this one, but hopefully a change of shape and more possession and on the front foot.
No telling what eleven SC will pick, but I'd like it to be 3-4-3 looking something like:
Turner
Worrall Boly Niakhate
Aurier Yates Sangare Tavares
Elanga Awoniyi MGW
Bench
Vlach, Aina, Felipe, McKenna, Mangala, Santos, Origi, CHO, Aguilera
Hopefully, atmosphere will be for 90 minutes as well.
Forest to win by 2 goals and move up a place or two.
Win this and you can start looking at mid table this season - doesn’t look like you will suffer any second season syndrome
We are all, including the owner, expecting to see a far better performance against Burnley, than was served up against the blades.
We need to keep possession and score at least a couple of goals; Awoniyi needs to stay fit.
Turner
Aina Worrall McKenna
Montiel Sangare Mangala Elanga
MGW CHO
Awoniyi
V.Dimos, Tavares, Niakhate, Kouyate, Yates, Santos, Dominguez, Origi, Wood
A few tired players from International duty then. Not sure on that back three!!!
It looks like we’re going for it 👍🏼

It's a 4-2-3-1 formation. Very attacking lineup, hope we can justify it...
We are starting to make chances.
Montiell is having a torrid time, looking like a red card waiting to happen, obviously not upto speed yet.
We started well, dropped off and got suckered, nice finish but Montiell and Worrall have to do better for their goal, very friendly deflection helped.
We should have scored from a corner, but somehow managed to miss the ball altogether.
Tbh i think its going to be very difficult to break Burnley down, MGW needs to get involved more.

We will get the chances but we need to be better with the final ball in the box.
This ref is giving us nothing. Some good tackles being given as fouls
Montiell hooked. Nuno Tavares on.
If they get a second i think we are toast, we just don’t look threatening enough upfront.
What a goal from Hudson-Odoi

VAR tried to intervene.

VAR trying to rob us again
Delivery from corners and crosses needs to improve slightly.
Is that handball by the Burnley player
VAR looking at a hand ball, looks to be over ruled?
Jones having to review and over rules! good
OMG did McKenna get lucky there, Handball, but it was a really close call. McKenna should have cleared that.
Don’t normally like VAR, but it certainly helped us there.
To think they checked CHO goal for handball, as well.
McKenna redeems himself. We are looking a bit shaky at the back.
