Hopefully he’ll die in prison like he deserves, but that’s academic as his majority ownership passed to his family last October - the only way we will get proper change is if we are compel telly sod to new owners. However, Levy will price us out of any sale - why buy THFC for £3bn when you can but Newcastle Utd for £300m? Abu Dhabi bought City for a packet of Smarties. Everton would probably represent better value for the next state or oligarch that want to buy into the PL.

I think he means it. Being chairman of Spurs opens the doors for him.
He represents the Premier League at the European Club Association (ECA) and previously held a role on UEFA’s Professional Football Strategy Council. He would have to give the roles up if he were to sell up.
He will also want to oversee the next phase of the property development around the Lane. All the housing and hotel.
So I reckon he will be at the healm for at least another five years.

Ange coming in is not a one hit fix. Read what Ange said in the FF the other day. Basically we aint doing this in one window, and that's correct. We need to add more quality and some also need moving on but NO ONE does this in one window. Even Chelsea took 3 and +£1bn. Look how Klopp evolved LFC, Arteta Arsenal or even Poch at Spurs. It takes a bit of time to affect change build something.
Take our last line up - 6 players who are new to the team, Change is happening. Enjoy it instead of just being pissssed off and wanting more and more immediately!

They’ve been here 20+ years, won one trophy and repeatedly failed to back managers at key moments as well as made various other mistakes that we are all aware of and is pointless going over again. Not to say they haven’t done some good, but most of that is related to infrastructure and marketing. Anyone who thinks ENIC are committed to ensuring a degree of sustained footballing success is absolutely deluded, we are an investment vehicle for them to facilitate corporate and entertainment events and property development.

Yes hard not to disagree. It's always been about the money for these guys, that's the endgame. So many of the poor decisions have been geared towards this. Although when they have plucked up the courage to think with the club and fans in mind i.e. recruitment of players and managers for large sums of money to bring about quick on field improvement, they've still got it wrong.

Trophies - if we win one it will be like a Leicester winning the league, a complete fluke that was never planned for by the clubs hierarchy

We're pretty much going to have to wait for Joe Lewis to die to see any real sort of change in the ownership.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully he’ll die in prison like he deserves, but that’s academic as his majority ownership passed to his family last October - the only way we will get proper change is if we are compel telly sod to new owners. However, Levy will price us out of any sale - why buy THFC for £3bn when you can but Newcastle Utd for £300m? Abu Dhabi bought City for a packet of Smarties. Everton would probably represent better value for the next state or oligarch that want to buy into the PL.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The thing is I'd rather not be a play thing for some state-owned Saudi group but the truth is they'd put more emphasis on improving the club than our current owners do. The ideal scenario is for Levy and Co. to change their ways, which I'm not sure will ever happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They’ve been here 20+ years, won one trophy and repeatedly failed to back managers at key moments as well as made various other mistakes that we are all aware of and is pointless going over again. Not to say they haven’t done some good, but most of that is related to infrastructure and marketing. Anyone who thinks ENIC are committed to ensuring a degree of sustained footballing success is absolutely deluded, we are an investment vehicle for them to facilitate corporate and entertainment events and property development.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes hard not to disagree. It's always been about the money for these guys, that's the endgame. So many of the poor decisions have been geared towards this. Although when they have plucked up the courage to think with the club and fans in mind i.e. recruitment of players and managers for large sums of money to bring about quick on field improvement, they've still got it wrong.

No, what we need are trophies, and at the bare minimum, European football.

I think Europe will be back on the menu next year - Levy is very much for that.
Trophies - if we win one it will be like a Leicester winning the league, a complete fluke that was never planned for by the clubs hierarchy
