I've heard he's fantastic for Scotland. Is his attitude better for Scotland than it is us?

Poor guy was pimped out to every club this summer and the abuse he is getting from his own fans.

Can't blame him

Yeah saw this yesterday, it does seem we have an issue with players busting a gut and putting pressure on opponents. I read a reason was that we only do it high up the pitch but that makes no sense because he lost possession 15 yards from the Bayern box.

Rashford's the same, never bothers to put pressure on opponents.

But ‘he puts in a shift’.

I’d be annoyed too if that waste of space eriksen is constantly picked instead. Haven’t watched enough scotland games to say about attitude, but he plays much more attacking role from what I’ve seen which seems to suit him with them, and not just randomly shunted in somewhere by ETH.

yeah right. You guys have been moaning about McFred for years. He was available summer but only West Ham made a bid for him. As soon as you lose a game you default to the following:

1) Glazers
2) Maguire
3) McTominay

A 30 million bid that the club rejected. Any reputable journalist said that McTominay is part of ETH plans and it would take a huge bid for us to consider selling.

But do put your own narrative on it.

Despite my misgivings over McT's ability one thing I always thought he gave was 100%. If he doesn't do that then what's the point?

With rumours that it's him, Sancho and Maguire who are the leaks behind dressing room unrest I wonder if we'll look to move them on in January. Surely we'd get close to £100m for them even now?

Which is a huge bid for McTominay and the reason no one did bid that amount.

McTominay has always loved a stroll in the middle of the park.

It's mental there's still supposedly a leak within the United camp and they haven't been identified yet.

Think Utd's current situation is pretty similar to what we went through when Arteta arrived at end of 2019. That is disgruntled big name players causing rifts in the dressing room (Ozil, Auba,Guendouzi) and (maybe) undermining the Manager and disrupting team morale.

Think you might need to get down to basics and perhaps get rid of those big egos and try and get in young hungrier players who are honoured to play for you even if it means in the short term you are weaker.

Whether your owners are willing to support ETH in this process (or indeed if this is what he wants) is a different matter and probably unlikely as they are looking to sell.

Think ETH is destined to fail if he doesn't get some support from the club as the Manager is always the first scapegoat when things go wrong.

Arteta only survived by the skin of his teeth and was regularly getting abuse from such wise heads as Stan Collymore, Piers Morgan and Gabby Agbonlahor. But for whatever reason the Board saw something in him and decided to be patient.

McTominay actually had the highest xTB in the team when he came on. He just failed to convert them which has been out biggest problem this season. Even going back to Southampton away in 2017 we had the highest xTB recorded in the past decade but failed to convert half of them and ended up conceding on the break lol we need a centre mid who can convert his TBs and we will win pretty much every game.

posted on 22/9/23

Probably pi553d we tried tonshift him to Fulham. He should get over it or F off.

posted on 22/9/23

More annoyed with how easily he lost possession.
Rashford was opening up on his left if only he could keep possession and spot rash run

McT has always been one of those busy doing nothing player

Yeah that was unforgivable. He literally just came on the pitch

TB has largely been eradicated by antibiotics yet here you are boasting about United's big numbers. No wonder McT is struggling to run.

posted on 22/9/23

I would not be surprised if McT was one of those who downed tools during the latter stages of Ole's reign.

I find lack of effort from pros absolutely criminal. It's your job, you don't need any ability.
