Thanks View.

Add to that it's 12 months in the job for Paul Warne so congratulations on the 1 year anniversary. Based on the interviews this week I think he's leaning towards 4-2-3-1 with 5-3-2 a back up. It'd be incredibly disappointing to see him switch formations given last two results.

Good to see Sibley and Barks get minutes and do well and hopefully they'll get some game time in the second half. Our new acquisition at RB is also likely to play as PW acknowledged Wilson's hard work and yards covered.

Time to go on a good run after the Lincoln win, I sense a second victory (hopefully!)

"Persevere with 3 at the back"? It was a back four last week and has been for most of the season. Hopefully we will play more through the midfield and try to control the game. Looking forward to a stop at Tebay services on the way there and on the way back but I'm hoping that isn't the highlight of the day.

I remember Tebay. Great stop for the hounds on the way north.

Is that what you expect Warne to field or what you'd like as the line up?

I expect Warne to field :

Wildsmith

Nyambe Nelson Cashin Forsyth

Fornah Smith

NML Sibley Washington

Waghorn

Perhaps both. I don't think he will throw Nyambe straight in though he might. If Smith is in midfield I would prefer Embleton to Fornah.

No Wilson?
Good luck to the Rams today, and to all those travelling, please be careful, take care, and have a safe journey.

Maybe Wilson will play, to me he is stronger going forward than defending so I thought he might be a sub.

Morning all. First visit of grandson today so will be distracted but will keep a beady eye on things.

Possibly an ever more exciting day for you Heb than for those of us traveling to the game. I'm sure the lad will look great in his first DCFC kit.

Throwback to a game v Carlisle at the BBG:

My Dad said we would win that game 6-0 because the team would be so relaxed after securing the title. I predicted 0-0 in an after the Lord Mayor's show scenario. Goalless it was but we didn't care.

My only previous visit to Brunton Park was in 1988. I was working in A/E in Bolton and had a few days off so did a bit of a tour round Scotland. On the way back I noticed floodlights in Carlisle so went to investigate. Carlisle were playing Scarborough in the Sherpa Vans trophy so I went in with the away contingent which was only just into double figures. It finished 1-1, not a classic, but when they let us out at half time to visit the food vans I had the best pasty I've ever had at a footy match.

Anyway, need to get on the road. No sleep 'til Tebay, as Lemmy said.

I went to Carlisle in 1967 and we lost 1-0 and Hector missed a penalty! I also remember there was a pair of ladies knickers hanging off a roof truss above me, God knows how they got there.

I hope you enjoy your pint better than I did back then Scouse, all the beer was Ferderation Ales and it was krap.

I used to visit a printing works right next door to the 'Fed' brewery in Gatehead VC (late 1980's). Never tried their brew though, as I always drank Newcastle Brown ale when up that part.

Trivia; Dunston the area of Gateshead where the Federation brewery was, is the home town of Gazza.
