Hanibal was excellent. Even in the last 20mins when everyone looked leggy he was chasing everything down and conducting all our forward play. Very intelligent passing, and not taking selfish pot shots.

Rashford and McTominay were both useless tonight.

Villa, City and Spurs put a combined 11 past Burnley.

Burnley had 61% possession and more attempts on goal than us.

We are the pits.

It sounded like Burnley were pretty poor as well

Varane is our most important player. Not only does he defend well and read the game well, he also improves those around him and organises the defense.

Tonight was never about scoring lots of goals, all that mattered were the 3 points and the clean sheet is a great bonus.

I think that’s the most miserable I’ve ever felt after a win.

I felt worse after the Wolves and Forest wins tbh, but that's probably because I wasn't expecting a win tonight

We did start with about 6/7 first teamers missing though tbf.

Team is low on confidence and low on options. We will improve when we get our team back.

Remember when Liverpool had their back 4 missing a few years ago? The were absolutely woeful.

Evans had a good game but Hannibal was out man of the match for me.

For all Burnleys possession they didn’t create much and I wasn’t on the edge of my seat like I have been in our recent defensive performances.
