Luton?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seems I can't put yesterday's game behind me after all
I'd like to see GON try something different tactically for this one. It's not like we have anything to lose as we don't have a hope of winning the trophy.
Maybe ......
Fabio
Sasa Chunha
Difficult to predict games like this because we will doubtless make changes to our team and maybe changes to our set up also. But then Ipswich will surely make changes too so it becomes a case of what works best on the night.
Certainly seems a chance to give Bueno, Bueno, Doyle, Bentley, Toti, Doherty a game plus Sarabia who was outstanding in the last round. And be good to see Enso Gonzales gat at least part of a game. Whether we would pick both Sasa and Fabio we will see but Fabio did impress playing behind the striker previously. Helpful that Bellegarde gats one of his banned games out the way here.
Maybe;
Bentley
Doherty, Bueno, Toti, Bueno
Doyle, Traore
Sarabia, Fabio, Gonzales
Kalajdzic
Be happy with that line-up as long as we have a strong bench for when it all goes tats up.
Usually the case in these games that the first teamers are most of the bench unless some need a rest. But the likes of Tom King, Nathan Fraser and Hodge, who is now fit again, will likely be there
I'd go with Spangle's team. We need to see what all the squad players can do and whether they are genuine options.
I'd be surprised if O'Neil makes 11 changes tbh. Plus are Bueno and Gonzales match fit?

How are we going to get them match fit if we don’t play them in meaningless games like this?
Not much interest from me, just a chance to see some fringe players.
Managed to get 7/4 for an Ipswich win in 90 minutes. The Bookies still haven't caught on to just how bad Wolves are.
PS: Has he gone yet?

Butey will be all over those odds. Assume Mick is still in charge there?
Is Hodge fit? The way he pulled up in the Blackpool game I expected him to be out for a couple of months at least.

After their initial plummet down the divisions (that we have seen all too often) they do seem to have finally recovered from the knee jerk decision to sack MM.
Have I woke up in 2017 this morning, all this talk of Mick & Ipswich? Christ I havent got to go through that divorce again have I?

Wolves have not been given an apology for the penalty against them on Saturday. The referee and VAR referee believe the correct decision was given.
The main rule is that handball is given where the arm is not in a natural position and the effect has been to make the body bigger.
However in the 23/24 guidance issued by the Premier League and PGMOL it says a mitigating factor is when there has been a clear change in trajectory when the ball has initially been legitimately played by the same player.
The ref and var ref have said that Gomes didn’t play the ball he just deflected it, so the fact his arm was outstretched makes it a penalty
