I'd 40-6 to be Australian tonight.

😅 I’m not too worried as I knew when we came into the tournament we were probably our worst ever wallabies side. Perhaps I thought we’d make it out of our group but we’d lose the quarter. Ah well, Union is really pretty much dead here as league is swallowing up the best rugby players so we may never win another World Cup 😿

Yeah that's true, but a good showing considering how things have gone for Wales in the last two years. Just wish Alun Wyn Jones had stayed on and made it five World Cups.

Great performance from Wales, against what was one of the poorest Aussie sides I have ever seen, but you can only beat what is in front of you. Wales will fancy their chances of getting to the semis, but there is quite a step to match any of the 'big 4' after that.

Salford as they are my local team but I did go to Wembley a few weeks ago to watch Leigh beat Hull KR. I have a few mates from Leigh area who follow the leopards. Had a brilliant day and really pleased Leigh won.

It's a sport on its knees though sadly. Shame as I think it's far better to watch than Union.

Yeah. I agree. We do have pretty much three weeks off now to recover and prepare before the Quarters. You never know but semi final at best IMO. Perhaps a third place play off v England!

Haven’t seen much of the world cup, but it’s always nice to hear about the Aussies getting humiliated.

The Broncos looked good yesterday, so may give them a game in the final. They were helped a little by a shocking piece of officiating to allow two miles forward passes for a try that pretty much finished the game but they were already a couple of scores ahead at that stage

I'm Irish, so obviously my loyalties lie elsewhere. For me, there is a distinct gap between the top 4 and the rest. Of course upsets can happen, but hoping we can keep it going. Maybe Wal v Fiji 3rd / 4th place off
