Call me crazy but if we can get through the group you never know how we could be looking by February. It's a cup competition after all and both Milan sides reached the last four last season.

I think Utd could win the CL.

Apart from Arsenal and City, I don't see any other teams better than Utd in the competition.

Certainly more chance of that than placing ahead of Arsenal or City over 38 games.

We'd potentially have a full team available perhaps or most of it anyway unless we continue to be unlucky with injuries.

Don't think we are good enough personally. I think we probably over achieved last season to a certain degree. If Rashford wasn't in the form he was we'd have struggled a lot more than we did.

Actually think we'll do quite well tomorrow.

Then back it up with a decent win against Brentford before we go into the international break and lose all possible momentum.

Let's hope so.

The international break might not be the worst thing though given the injury situation. Reguillon should be back after the break so at at least Amrabat doesn't have to fill in at lb too much longer hopefully.

it beggars absolute belief that anybody could think that United could win the CL this season.

Having said that... Im intrigued about going tomorrow. You are never quite sure wtf is going to happen next to United these days and where it might lead us to.

My prediction for the result is 1-2.

Has Antony been injured, or training? If he’s been training no reason he wouldn’t be fit.

I’d like to see Hannibal return, Amrabat in CM alongside Casemiro but that can’t happen because we’d have to stop two of Mount, Bruno and Rashford.

I expect the same team as Saturday, with Pellistiri dropped.

That's what I'd do too.

Pellestri doesn't look good enough to me. Runs a lot but looks very weak and doesn't exactly make chances either.

The right side of our pitch is a disaster zone. It's actually impressive how bad it is considering what we've spent trying to fix it.

We can win the CL on the basis that once every ten years or so a really bad team wins it (usually Chelsea).

Anybody can win a cup, given a bit of fortune and hard work.

Inter made a final last season, and gave City a good game. We made two domestic cup finals ourselves.

Fortune plays a part of course it does but you also have to have some kind of effective system too to win the CL. Luck can't do everything for you.

We've no chance guys. We don't even look good against lower league PL fodder.

It’s gonna be an interesting game as there’s a few nemesis’ at play.

The Istanbul coach who beat us in that horrific Bakashire game in 2020, Angelino who bodied us in that dreadful Leipzig game in the same campaign and Zaha who usually does well against us.

Think we’ll just about sneak it as our home form in Europe is usually good but it’s a game fraught with danger,
