Let’s get pedro mendes back for a rematch for the Roy Carroll goal that never was.

Or better yet let’s replay the CL final for the Sissoko shoulder/chest ball…

Liverpool suck it up, it’s getting pathetic at this point
----------------------------------------------------------------------
just rule out the sissoko handball pen then, still win 1-0
----------------------------------------------------------------------
thats the thing theres so many different variables

a draw was probably about fair in Saturdays game but the red cards were legitimate imo and kinda played weirdly into Liverpools hands where the style of play suits it and have already won games with fewer players this season even
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jota red card was not legitimate IMO as the first yellow was ridiculous
----------------------------------------------------------------------
His foul (on Bissouma) before his first yellow was as clear a yellow as you’ll see. Yet nothing was given.

Dry your eyes!

think he made a couple of challenges before his 2nd yellow which was pure stupidity considering him being on a yellow

There will obviously not be a replay but good on Klopp, kick up as much of a fuss as possible. Cheated out of points. Make sure they think twice about doing it in future.

Four red cards in seven games, three of them never red cards and the VVD one extremely debatable, although for me a red. We've already had two apologies in seven games this season. We need to ensure there's not another as apologies don't give you points on the league table.

Pathetic excuse. You mean like Udogie and Richarlison weren't booked for waving imaginary cards at the ref? Udogie was already on a yellow so he should have been off and the Jota incident wouldn't have happened.

I though refs received instructions to clamp down on imaginary card waving. Hooper missed that as he was in the UAE.

You think? Possibly. Personally I think we win the game, 1-0 up and a man down. We could have lost it also of course, although we were still the better team even with ten men. Should have scored a second but for Diaz' awful miss at the end of the first half, probably still bemused how the first wasn't given.

Absolutely no chance of you getting a replay. Pandora's box being opened doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what doing this would result in.

Every single team in the PL have been on the end of a horrendous VAR mistake since it's inception. Some multiple ones.

i agree, doubt it'll be replayed and nor should it. Bit of a non story really.

nah probably not but as ive said before theres lots of variables to football which means as hard as it is you have to just move on, cause many different outcomes could have occurs even if there were no sending offs and the Diaz goal stood

Spurs have been pretty good at bouncing back from conceding so could easily still have scored their goal etc

Game could have been more open and presented more clear chances for Son for example if it was 11 vs 11

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I noticed the Richarlison wave of an imaginary card tbh. It was half hearted and the ref had already turned in the opposite direction. But you’re right he should’ve had a yellow card. Fact remains Jota made a cyclical foul on Bissouma got away with it. Yeah arguably the first yellow he actually got was soft. But his second yellow he can have no complaints. Also whilst we are do whataboutery, the foul before your first goal was questionable.

Like I said suck it up and move on ffs.. it’s getting pathetic. If your article was in jest fair enough, but don’t keep bleating on in the comments.

I don't know, eleven versus eleven you had one shot to our eight before the sending off. In fact I think there was a stat flying around that Liverpool had a better xG rate with nine men than Spurs did with eleven. No disrespect intended but Liverpool were in control of the game and Spurs were playing into Liverpool's hands by being open. Spurs have done well against the better teams, performance wise at least, lately when they've played a counter attacking game. Klopp said you were the best counter attacking team in the country previously.

All in all, although it will never be proven, I think the officials lost Liverpool the points. Not Spurs' fault of course.

Put it this way, we should probably rest all key players at Anfield later in the season - the ref will be keen to give a couple of our players an enforced 3 game rest.

We all know this is the purpose of the Liverpool whinge - you will hear faaack all from them as soon as a dubious decision goes their way - like the week before when Bowen didn’t get the penalty

Agree. Firstly as it's more exciting to watch, Spurs fans will be happier but also I hated Liverpool playing against it. This more open attacking game makes for a much better spectacle.
