Told you Klopp and LFC wanted the replay all along....Nothing to do with improving the system
The officials did not breach the laws of the game. In fact, the criticism is that they adhered to the laws of the game by not stopping it and pulling it back to award the goal. The missing of the offside is not a breach, it’s an error and they happen in most games in one form or another. The VAR is not the referee, they are an aid.

100% that is exactly what Klopp is playing at. He knows rightly what he is doing and hoping to achieve.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course it is. Anybody who actually thinks Klopp believes there's any hope for a replay are a bit simple to say the least. It's very clear what he is doing. Do you think he'd have let TAA say the points have gone and we need to think about the next games if he thought there was a chance of a replay?
Taking up the media headlines to hide the tories atrocities. Disgusting from Klopp.

There will obviously not be a replay but good on Klopp, kick up as much of a fuss as possible. Cheated out of points. Make sure they think twice about doing it in future.
Four red cards in seven games, three of them never red cards and the VVD one extremely debatable, although for me a red. We've already had two apologies in seven games this season. We need to ensure there's not another as apologies don't give you points on the league table.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
cheated out of a point surely? would have been 2-2
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You think? Possibly. Personally I think we win the game, 1-0 up and a man down.

I want the replay to happen. It needs to happen. That’s the only way this is fair.
If it doesn’t happen, then two points need to be taken away from Spurs and Liverpool need a point added.

VAR: Check complete, check complete. That's fine, perfect (showing Diaz is clearly onside). Off.

Referee. Well done boys. Good process
The VAR told the referee it was off, which is the point the referee made his decision and chalked the goal off. Even though he watched it and saw it was on, he told the referee it was off. He then repeated confusing crap when told he got it wrong, until the point where nothing could be done when Spurs restarted the game, which is when he suddenly came back to life and admitted his misconduct. This is not a mistake, this is gross misconduct. He either wasn't watching the game or he intentionally did it. They called it a "lapse of concentration and loss of focus". Too right it was, he wasn't watching the game.
VARspudz fuming 😤 ….. 😂😂
think theyll change rules that theyll keep looking and getting everything right even when play restarts and can be pulled back at any time it takes
Look, this won't get replayed, nor should it and although I'd rather Klopp hadn't of said it, he's playing quite a clever game imo.
Also, I don't really want this brushed under the carpet just because the PGMOL have said 'Soz, we'll retrain them and add an extra check'.
I suspect PGMOL are rightly under a lot of scrutiny from the Premier League this season, because they've been utterly inept, and it would be no surprise to see a new refereeing body in the not too distant future and tbh, rightly so.
Biggest issue is that they didn’t implement automated offsides in the summer like the intelligent leagues.

This would be a nightmare.
It's bad enough not knowing if you can celebrate a goal until the VAR check's over.
How long are we supposed to leave it after the VAR check before we cheer a goal for our team?
It's not going to be replayed. It shouldn't be replayed.
If a replay is ordered for this then it'll be requested for all sorts of things. Precedent would be horrible.
Only chance would be if Spurs do what Arsenal did back in '99 and request the replay themselves. But they're never going to do that.
The only thing that should come out of this is a review of how it happened, make sure it can't happen again, and then consider the wider use of VAR and why there are so many incidents PGMOL feel the need to apologise over. Learn lessons basically.
