I’m too long in the tooth to really get my hopes up, but I think with the way that we’re playing, the positivity Big Ange has brought and the fact that we don’t have Europe as a distraction (hopefully for this season only) we should definitely be pushing for a Top 4 finish.
Just gonna enjoy the ride.
We’ve got the same amount of points after 8 games that City did last season and only one less than Woolwich had.
These next 5 are huge for our season, we’re capable of winning them all but I would snap your arm off for 3 wins and a draw giving us 30 points after 13 games - that will leave us well on course for CL qualification.
All about momentum for us just like Woolwich last year, each result breeding more confidence. Postecoglou’s record at his previous clubs suggests he only improves after each transfer window - much for us to be happy about

Fantastic exciting start to season but am concerned with lack of depth in squad, already lost Solomon, Perisic, Johnson and convinced that Ange is only playing Richarlison because of lack of other options, this high energy football will take its toll and the need to rotate is obvious even with only 1 game a week, hope Levy helps out in January

Very good start to the season and the football we're playing is great to watch.
Ange has got everyone on board and playing like a team that want to play for him.
The new players have settled in very quickly which helps.
It's early days and no way should we talking about title chances but let's aim for top 4 and see how we get on.
I've been very impressed with Bissouma this season but was angry with him yesterday, I get he will get yellow cards because he will be battling to win the ball in midfield but diving is never acceptable and he let us and his team mates down yesterday and the ref was right to send him off.

Not convinced that a traditional 9 is what Ange wants
I’m not necessarily saying that he’s good enough for Spurs but I wonder why Ange didn’t go for Kyogo from Celtic. Seemed to be one of his best players and would know Anges system well.

I think potentially the first part of your comment is the answer. I haven't seen a lot of him but am not sure he's even as good as Son in that position?
We'll just sign Osimhen in January. All good.
I know we can't get too ahead of ourselves but with the start we've made we almost have to start thinking about more than just top 5. Today is a good day too with teams below us playing each other.
