Oh.
United are a huge part of my life and always have been and also growing up, Beckham was my hero, I used to base how I played football on him, copy everything he did. Practiced for hours on my own trying things he could do (obviously nowhere near good ).
The way he played for united and England was inspiring, often being one of the only players giving it 110%.
Basically it is quite emotional isn't it really as a united fan.
The 1998 world cup stuff was awful as well, I remember it clearly and to see him come through the end of it, winning the treble, having his first kid.. it's just a good program.
People forget that footballers are human beings with emotions. David Beckham got absolutely rinsed by everybody in the country bar United fans that season, and he came out on top. Absolute legend.

Aaaaah. Right. Still soft.
I havent watched it yet but I intend to.
As a liverpool fan from scotland, I should really detest beckham. Yet hes probably 1 of the ex players I respect the most. His commitment to teams, particularly his country is a rarity in the game. I always admired how he wouldve turned out for england no matter what and whenever asked. None of this throwing toys out the pram sh!te you get where guys retire because they got left out a squad.
He went through more than most and still came out on top. Clearly made of the right stuff, have to respect that.

I miss the 90's so much. What a time to be alive.
I'll give this one a miss. Decent player. Outside the game the man's a bit of a degenerate. Loves himself more than anyone else. Not much to admire apart from the fact he could put a ball where he wanted to 9 times out of ten. Each to their own.

He definitely had it away with that bird in Madrid. The documentary barely covers it. She was hot too.
Way hotter than his wife.
It’s enjoyable, seems to have done a very good job for brand Beckham. Not entirely truthful however, they’ve not been an actual couple for a long time.
Is anyone watching it?

It covers it plenty and there's no denial from Beckham about it and a lot of acknowledgement about the pain caused to Victoria. In other words, it's very obviously implied that he did have an affair.
Enjoyed the docu-series. Binged watched it on over the weekend.
Beckham was a great player and watching back some of those clips is always brilliant. I'm not a big fan of him as a person. He seems like he's a nice guy and all but I can't really connect with his constant PR/media trained and carefully curated image that he's always projecting. Just be natural, David!
Great programme.
Ran his socks for us and had a wonderful career. I support Ferguson’s decisions on a lot of things, but not sure I agree with him on getting rid of him because he decided to be with Victoria. Fair play to him he does not hold ill feelings unlike Keane, who definitely hates the boss.
On another note, I see Cleverson the doofus calling a man that spearheaded Qatar World Cup his idiot. No self awareness from this idiot.
