I didn’t, I was talking about his performances in the CL. Domestically he was one of the best I’ve seen, he’s one of my favourite players and he didn’t even play for my team. Don’t need to get so defensive because his CL performances were commented on, for a player as good as he was he massively underperformed in that competition.

He may not have been at his best in the CL but I seem to remember him doing pretty well in the Europa League, won it twice and almost single handedly demolished Arsenal in the 2019 final. Not bad for someone so overrated!!

think the kid developed some sort of eating disorder tbh

turns up at Madrid fat...which in turn led to him picking up alot of injuries

2nd season at Madrid turns up after pre-season even fatter than he was the year before

Hope you’re keeping well also Mr. C ❤️

He was, though. Which was strange as Hazard was such a good big game player domestically, but didn’t really show up in the CL.

think he averaged a goal contribution a game in the CL

or every 2 games.

Not that that was his game anyway.

3rd best player in pl history for me.

Don't think i've seen a player control a game from the wing like he has, and rarely anyone control a game like he has at all, only one's who come close are probably scholes and a couple others.

Picked up the ball all over the pitch and was the ball carrier, creator, finisher as well as relieving pressure and killing teams by keeping the ball.

I think the point is that that’s way off. I had a look and what your club website posted is that he scored 8 CL goals - of which 4 were penalties. I actually didn’t realise his performances didn’t carry into the CL

goal involvements meaning assists as well.

Tbf we were never challenging or good as a team in the CL regardless tbh.
Even 2012 was our poorest team for a decade. We had a good little team with mata, hazard and oscar but was way too short lived.

And again...it's not right to judge hazard just on goals anyway.

True about the team but Hazard was often a one man army in big domestic games. Was weird he didn’t really turn up in the CL.

By that I mean big games.
