Same poor memory?
Should’ve done a ‘pro’ version not a slim. Who actually hasn’t got room for the regular size version except for perhaps in a kids box bedroom.
Who needs a pro at the moment though? All this saves Sony money so of course it's logical for them. And I love my playstation but it is somewhat of an eyesore. 30% size reduction is big (pun intended).

Most people I know have had to beef their memory up tbf, so a base model than has a bigger capacity would sell pretty well.
Depends on the price. PS5 capable m.2s are super cheap these days, and will be cheaper than Sony doing it.......but much better than MS who shot them selves in the foot going with their stupid licensed drives

By memory do you need disk space or actual RAM?
Also tempted to buy one now the slim is arriving. The original is far too big...
Shall I wait for the pro though? Hmm

Memory is the same, SSD is up from 825GB to 1TB
I meant does he mean disk space or RAM. RAM is usually what people refer to as memory.
It's good that they have upped it to 1tb. This looks like a far better console, basically what it should have been. The cost is the same too and you get a little more for your money.
Still considering waiting for the pro though.
Hmmmm.
Memory is the same. SSD is storage space.
Sorry yeah wasn’t clear, meant for storage of games. It’s pretty awful as standard.
And yes the drive is about 20% bigger (1tb as opposed to 825gb), but will be honest never really had an issue with storage. Would occasionally need to delete stuff but honestly really wasn't a biggie. Also have an external for PS4 stuff

Good they upped it though.

Ok not sure why it's not previewing - it's Linus tearing down the new slim.
