Gotta point out 'the Tangs' were/are truly great.
The rest of the references, though, are cack - at best.

Stick to calling out De Gea and posting creepy music links.
It was called Crazy For You where I watched it. Great movie. Linda Fiorentino was stunning.
Loved the soundtrack. Only.the Young is one of my top Journey songs.iIt was perfect for the movie.
Coach Carter was the one for me. Amazing film.

Yeah, think it was one of her first movies. Absolute babe and just had that incredible vibe that made her irresistible.

She still had it in Men in Black.
Kind of off topic Robb, but finished Mr Inbetween recently which I believe you recommended on here a while back. Really good.
You probably know already, but i read its actually a sequel of sorts to a low budget independent 'mockumentary' made back in 2005 called 'The Magician' (referenced in one of the episodes in the last season)...any pointers on where to watch that would be appreciated as I haven't been able to find it anywhere!

Ah glad you liked it. Such a great show and made even better in my opinion because the main actor wrote the show and his dialogue is so real and just makes him more relatable. Plus it didn’t outlast its welcome so never had time to become a bad show.
As for the Magician..

Not sure ‘sport movie’ was a requirement mate.
Britain doesn't do inspirational films, more the opposite.
So Train Spotting will have to do.
A backpack full of Spurs trophies funny.
Hoosiers and Breaking Away are 2 fantastic inspirational 80s sports movies.
Speaking of Linda Fiorentino, another great film with her is The Last Seduction.

Chariots of Fire, Zulu, Billy Elliot, The Kings Speech, Memphis Belle, Kes, Withnail and I.
Kes and whitnail? Hardly inspiring, one is soulcrushing and the other is massively overated
FFS The UK has made many iconic 'inspirational' films. There is no doubt about that. Its the definition of 'inspirational' that is up for debate.
Clockwork Orange. Billy Elliot. 2001. Lawrence of Arabia. Dunkirk. Laurence Olivier Hamlet. 39 Steps. and other Hitchcock. Chariots of Fire, East is East, The Pianist (European Collab), Saturday Night and Sunday Morning plus other kitchen sinks, Gregorys Girl, Billy Elliot. Blow up. Kes Third Man and sooo many others. The question really depends what floats your inspirational boat.
