Only a few more days to wait. With no midweek games in the EPL, and no cup run I'm feeling a bit starved of footy this season. It feels like we get about a dozen games less a season than we did in the EFL. Still quantity over quality.
I think I'd give Origi a start this week before resorting to a false 9. I'd also have Toff to start. If SC is staying loyal to Turner, I think he will also stick with Toff. Aurier went off injured last game so maybe he will be rested. Montiel is quite capable.
Chris Wood and Gonçalo Montiel have internationals in the early hours of Wednesday morning, followed by long flight home. Could be a factor in Cooper’s team selection

That’s a good point, especially with Wood’s arduous flight. I did that back in 2005. I was exhausted by the time I got to NZ.
Hopefully Origi is up to full fitness.
I’m with you on the wait between games. A Carabao Cup run would’ve come in handy.
It’s crazy that we have another International break in November, then a few weeks off again in January!!
This is probably going to be a banana skin, don't underestimate Rob Edwards! He is another young manager on the way up, just like Steve Cooper.
This is a game we really must win. Luton are not as bad as their results suggest, but i also think we are a bit better than ours suggest.
Last time out we should have beaten Palace, but for fragilities in front of goal, if we put that right we should beat Luton.
We have some really exciting players, MGW, Murillo, COH to name a few, but the big miss is definitely Taiwo. Without him we seem to really struggle for goals, maybe Origi is worth a should, purely because of Woods epic journey. I’d stick with Turner in goal, and Toffolo at the back, not sure Niakhate gets straight back in.
Let’s hope the game goes ahead, as planned, and that we get 3 points, my prediction 3-1 the Garibaldi.
I think Taiwo may be on the bench today. Holding him back for next week.
Luton are hard working with a few good Championship players. Need to be switched on when they have set pieces other than that I don't see how they score.
Our set pieces need to be better also, they seem a bit predictable.
An optinistic 3-0 today.
Injuries are mounting up, no CHO or Origi today to add to Danilo
Goals need to come from the starting 11 as the bench is light

V. Luton:
Turner
Aurier Boly Murillo Toffolo
Mangala Dominguez Sangare
MGW Wood Elanga
V.Dimos, Niakhate, Worrall, Aina, Williams Kouyate, Santos, Yates, Aguilera
Not Selected:
Hennessy
McKenna
O.Dele
Injured:
Felipe / Montiel / Tavares / Danilo / CHO / Awoniyi / Origi
Sounds like this game is there for the taking if we can just hit the target
Wood is fecking useless. We'd be better off playing with 10.
It's me! I've brought good luck & the first goal!
They don't need a goal though
Thrown this away. Very poor last 10
We are awful against the poorer teams at home. We just get bullied all the time. We have attackers who are good until the final ball/shot so while we do alright going forward, we don’t really score or create much. Then when we bring subs on in the second half we capitulate defensively. I love Worral and don’t want to slag anyone off, but he constantly makes mistakes that lead to goals.
Potentially a very, very demoralising result.
Too many draws. Too many points dropped.

We should be another 4-5 points better off. This has to be a learning for Cooper as some of the late changes have not been working when we go defensive.

Agree, we seem to just start defending late in games and it doesn’t work at all.
If we are playing 4-3-3 then Mangala, Sangare, Dominguez, and Gibbs White can’t all start. We only need three midfielders.
If Awoniyi, CHO, and Origi are all injured, then ‘next man up’ has to be Larsson or Etapa Osong doesn’t it?
Playing MGW wide makes him easier to mark.
Bringing on three subs at once is too disruptive.
Murillo, Mangala, and Sangare are brilliant technically.
