I used to go to a lot of England games, this is a reminder of why I stopped.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This really isn't a reflection of the English people I know though. It's a shame they give the vast majority of English people a bad name.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They were waving a a flag and chanting English football chants, in the build.upto.an England game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You'd have to be very naive to think that they weren't there to cause trouble.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

ALL the Palestinians flags and chants and speaches we have seen this last weekx and these 4 or 5 England fans, out ahead of the England game are the trouble makers?

This is the problem with modern day Britain.

What nonsense.

They have a right to be there as much as the Free Palestine protesters.

I mean it's pretty clear that the Free Palestine supporters don't support England, otherwise they wouldn't be assaulting those waiving an England flag.

Good to know that I can go up to some remembrance Sunday ceremonies and hold up my Scotland flag and start singing Scotland football chants during their little get together and RDD would be fine with it.

Or is RDD saying we are not allowed to sing football songs about our own country in our own country, whilst flying flags of our own country?

These are the type of people that say "they are taking my freedoms away and destroying our culture".

Had a nice little 'debate' with one not so long ago. Here's what I said.

Can you still go to school / college / uni? Yes.
Can you find work? Yes
Can you go the countryside to take in the scenery? Yes.
Pub? Yes
Football or Rugby? Yes
Concerts and theatre? Yes
Out for a nice meal? Yes.

What freedoms have we lost exactly? What part of our culture that is steeped in sport, music, the arts, trips to the beach and countryside and casual drinking with mates at the weekend have we lost exactly? We haven't lost any of it. It's all still there and ready available.

He went quiet and shut up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

BUT whatever you do, do NOT try and support England when a free Palestine protest is about.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They arent supporting England. They are looking for a scrap

We have ALWAYS raised flags up in that location and sung songs about England there. Now suddenly some foreigners come and stand there to get offended. We sing and wave our flags there all the time regardless if there are Palestinians there or not.

It’s ARE flags!

The flag wavers knew what they were doing and what it would cause, anyone thinking they are simply England fans enjoying the atmosphere before the game is at the wind up

And of course England fans are 100% allowed and should be encouraged to enjoy the build up to a match like any any other fan group and set of supporters these ones knew what they were doing and why
