McCoist is a likeable guy but to compare the two incidents where Young got his second and Konate avoided his was ridiculous.

Young stopped a dangerous attack as Diaz was about to enter the box. Konate's was more a coming together deep in the opponents half. Perhaps borderline but not a yellow for me.

Yep, Konate should of had a red card and Tsimikas made 3 or 4 yellow worthy tackles but but was let off with it. The penalty was a standard joke gifted Varpool penalty,

How many pens have Penaltypool been gifted so far this season, and all of them dodgy as. Meanwhile Spurs are yet to be given one, despite several clear pens being waved away.

I wonder if Norbert will be offering Everton a replay after such a blatantly biased display of refereeing saw them robbed of a result.

We won`t hear a peep out of the media this week though, even though Everton were blatantly robbed by the officials.

There will be no incessant whinging and whining as things are now firmly back to normal, with the officials dragging Varpool to results.

This clear injustice will be swiftly swept under the carpet and forgotten about in true Saltypudlian fashion.

We were always going to get favourable decisions after being facked over vs spurs.

I actually bothered watching the game and was surprised at just how many times the crowd and players appealed for a penalty.

I guess they thought they would carry on screaming for one until they got one, thats how it normally works at that ground

Definite penalty, definite second yellow for Konate and it doesn't matter that it happened in a different area of the pitch to Youngs.
Klopp knew he was as good as sent after that and pulled him immediately.

90% of referees give Varpool the benefit of doubt, on the rare occasion one of the other 10% officiates one of their games and they don`t win, they cry like spoiled kids about decisions.

They are so used to being dragged along by `benefit of doubt officiating` that any bad decision that goes against them is magnified x100, this is how sad and pathetic that entitled club and it`s followers are.
