Stonewall penalty though.

Strange how a pundit like McCoist has it totally wrong but Gary Neville as a pundit had it totally right when they played us
You could not make it up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Almost like two completely different incidents are judged completely differently. Now Spurs have some really good posters on this site but my god do they have some of the most stupid.

Replay for what?
McCoist is a likeable guy but to compare the two incidents where Young got his second and Konate avoided his was ridiculous.
Young stopped a dangerous attack as Diaz was about to enter the box. Konate's was more a coming together deep in the opponents half. Perhaps borderline but not a yellow for me.
Penalty call as clear as they come.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Definite penalty, definite second yellow for Konate and it doesn't matter that it happened in a different area of the pitch to Youngs.
Klopp knew he was as good as sent after that and pulled him immediately.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course it matters. It's in the rules, regarding a dangerous attack. Klopp knew one more foul and it was a second yellow so took him off, considering the toting up process.
We all know after Klopp had a week long rant, Liverpool will get ever ref decision go in their favour for the rest of the season. This is only the beginning.

You just have a difficult life if your football club not winning a trophy for a while would affect that much.
I'm just peachy. My life is pretty good.
Even Klopp thought you got lucky.
The Konate second yellow was as clear a yellow card as you will ever see, but predictably the referee bottled it, as is usually the case when the decision negatively impacts Varpool.
Add all that to the mass media outpourings of grief and endless reminders of how Varpool were so hard done by v Spurs, and it has got into the heads of the officials, who will not dare give any major decision v Varpool, not that they would anyway, but that week long media campaign has just reinforced the favour shown to the Saltypudlians.
I do wonder how Billy finds the energy to spout the same nonsense repeatedly every day. Unless it's mostly a copy and paste job.

Well he has to find some excuse why clubs win trophies when his doesn't.
Well, first off its a subjective decision and nothing like the decision in the Spurs Liverpool game which is unprecedented so why would there be a call for a replay?
We got away with a decision, i thought the 2nd by konate was barely a touch of the arm but motd pointed out the leg contact trip so i agree with Klopp we got lucky and Konate could and prob shuld have been sent off.

Fingers crossed, but moronic logic by Sandy. Like saying Tierney would favour Liverpool after being called out by Klopp and dropped for Liverpool games, did he? no he let the MacAllister red card stand first game back on VAR in a Liverpool game Which was overturned ofc.
How was the decision in the spurs v liverpool game unprecedented? Been hundreds of onside goals been disallowed and visa versa, but because klopp can shout the loudest everyone seems to think it's the greatest mistake ever made, talk about entitled

Simple answer.
But it has happened lots of times before, as said in my previous reply, or does it only count if its against Liverpool?

When has an on field referee ever disallowed a goal, and then a VAR team, knowing that the goal obviously should have stood, inadvertently agreed with the on field ref because they thought they too had allowed it, realised they facked up immediately but then played on anyway?
