Juke is correct, it is mitigation in the form of pointing a massive finger at the standing area and saying please limit it to that section if we are to be punished in that way.

Don't think anyone could say I'm a fan of the GB, but that statement from Celtic looks fairly pre-emptive of the fine we're defo going to get from UEFA after the game tonight - so, agree with Silver's and JJ's take on it.

GB were wrong with the original banner a couple of weeks ago and should have clarified it. They didn't and left themselves wide open for action from the board. The board are using their recent behaviour at games - such as Motherwell - to punish them as a result.

Only hope is that the police and stewards just leave it be, as it looks as if there's going to be a sizeable portion of the crowd dusting down their Palestinian flags for the game tonight...

Just had that exact conversation with CS Jnr 1

Had the GB came out and said they are not supporting Hamas but instead it is their continual support of the Palestinian people it could have avoided the flack.

I am no fan of the GB but in the support of Palestinian people I am. If there is a fine for the flags then the club should be questioning why there are no fines for supporting Ukraine (which I wholeheartedly do as well)

There are many who do not agree with waving a Palestine flag or even support what is going on and that is their right but I still expect 30k to be waving a flag tonight

Aye this is my exact thoughts.

I've no issue with the Palestine flag being flown tonight as it doesn't need to be said why it will be flown. Personally I'd prefer politics like this is kept out of the ground but no issue with folk who wish to show solidarity with Palestinian given the bombardment they are under in Gaza, how many innocent people have been murdered, and how many more will be either through the bombing campaign, sickness, or starvation/lack of water.

Will not apologise for calling the GB out for their behaviour and actions recently though. Was mental that they didn't clarify their stance on the previous banner which is why I think they just get off on antagonising anyone they can, and don't really care all that much for Palestinians (it's just a "cause" for them to create good PR to cover for all their other sheeite).
