Curious to know what has happened to Lloris. Does he even train with us anymore? Does he support us from the sidelines at games? Anyone know?
Appreciate his form dipped massively in the last couple of seasons, but would have preferred him as our number 2 over Forster.

What are you talking about, Forster is one of the main reasons Ange joined. He looked through the squad and thought finally, a title and regular cup winner, with solid European experience. He probably transformed the mindset of your whole squad.

Fraser Forster has saved 17 penalties in his career, conceding 30.
Hugo Lloris has saved 19 penalties in his career, conceding.... 95.

I imagine most of those saves were from before he became an actual fossil.
He was in goal for our penalty shoot out loss against Fulham earlier this season where he didn’t get near a single effort. You could have moved the penalty spot ten yards back and he’d have still struggled.

I am just messing around for fun here but interesting stat:

Ya I can imagine that. His size and build was never going to lend itself to a long career at the top level. His peak was probably 8+ years ago now.
I like Forster as back up. A very competent GK, but will likely need upgrading next season.

I was hoping one of Austin or Whiteman might eventually graduate to a number two spot. But I'm pretty sure they're both mid twenties now, so it's looking less and less likely.
