Only seen the first 40 minutes of Hereditary because the projector in the cinema f*cked up!

Still haven’t watched the whole thing!

Massively overrated. It's not particularly scary really. It's more disturbing than it is scary.

There's one creepy scene in the world film and everyone will know which one I mean.

It's pretty good. Definitely worth a go if you like the franchise. Quite gory as well.

The sound of music with Mum and Dad

I watched Hereditary last night and found it pretty disturbing. It's so relentlessly bleak, and as it picks up pace you really feel for the characters as they just seem to go from one awful event to another, with no let-up.

I also thought there were three or four quite scary scenes, all of them in the last quarter of the film.

Well worth watching and I can understand comparisons with The Shining. It's not your average horror movie, but it's pretty hard-hitting.

My all time favourite, it’s so relentless and I love the myths and legends behind who ACTUALLY directed it!

Event Horizon was good. A bit short though.

A while ago I watched Midnight Mass on Netflix. Not a film, a series though. Thought that was good in a not scary way.

Well his influence is definitely all over it.

And yes some of the effects are a bit dated now, but it still holds up.

I was pretty scared of Poltergeist when I was a kid but on a recent re-watch I thought it was laughable!
