Remember last month when Sancho decided to chill the evening United were playing Bayern?

between his hair, partying, and smiling too much after a defeat, peak ronaldinho would receive an interesting reception at modern united.

and by "interesting", i mean moronic and toxic.

Wasn't it his birthday?

If he was doing it every week and coming into training after being out all night then there'd be an issue. Doesn't seem to be the case.

Seems like todays world is all or nothing with everything.

If someones playing good, they're a goat, if someones playing poorly they are the worst player to ever live

Man goes out to celebrate his birthday. Hang him, flog him in the streets, put him in jail for 48hrs.

The hate for Rashford is just getting silly now

Everyone is saying who cares etc but would SAF have been jolly with him going out clubbing the night before a morning training session, especially after getting d!cked by City? Fackin doubt it.
Also the fact that the media would be chasing him about it, SAF would have hated it.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is just forgetting how SAF used to be.

That article doesn't really prove anything

Rooney was also dropped for going out for dinner with his wife on boxing Day.

if i had to name 3 united posters who i would consider to be toxic, he'd be in the top 1. if i had to name one united poster i associate with constant vitriol against a united player, he'd be it.

though, on the whole, you might prefer his unfiltered toxicity to his laughably self-righteous "unlike some of our fans, i won't scapegoat any player whilst the glazers are in charge" stance, which seems to be his current shtick.

I'm not with you on this one Melbourne.

Whilst it's not the best look the fact he got to training on time is the most important thing for me. We've seen with Sancho that he can be at home but do more damage to himself.

If a night out helps Rashford in the mindset he's in now then good. If it turns out he was drunk, boorish and broke club rules in terms of drinking a set amount of hours before a game then that's a different matter.

It could well be that what the squad needs is a good old-fashioned p***up anyway where anything brooding in the background is brought to the surface.

Foden, Malacia and other PL players were apparently out with him celebrating his bday.

Oh the humanity.

After we lose I like a moan? Of course I do. It's called frustration you absolute oaf.

Glad we have got some sensible people on here.

Rashford was apparently meant to cancel his birthday celebrations because we lost to City. The protocol was PJ's on, early to bed having a cry and wait for his next birthday and hope it's on the weekend where we won or he has to stay in again.

Jesus wept it's getting so bad on here.

I don't rate Antony at all but if he wants to go out to celebrate his birthday whenever it is after a game I couldn't care fecking less. These people are human beings. They are allowed to leave their homes.

Some posters on here would probably be shocked to discover what the likes of Best, Robson, Keane etc got up to!

He’s entitled to have a life.

I’m sure some of our best ever players did this all of the time.

I’d only have an issue if he was knocking 10 odd drinks.

Humiliated at home by City, and Rashford a major part of this and you think its good that he is seen out partying?

Yet another sign that we as a club have dropped our standards.

He's allowed to do what he wants in his free time but it's not particularly professional. And to be honest it probably reflects where Rashford is as a player right now and on a wider scale where United are. Lack of professionalism equals standards slipping. He would have got a bollocking by Fergie and Keane for that.

Rashford is another one who is never going to reach the levels he should. Doesn't have the focus it seems.

Not long ago Sancho was getting loads of grief for daring to to play FIFA, the Afternoon before United played Bayern.

Rashford though, being put in a bar hours after being embarrassed vs City is fine.

Hypocritical.
