9 VAR checks and 5 disallowed goals.
Quite absurd.
Honestly don't get all the criticism for going for it. Yeah you could've stuck everyone behind the ball and hoped for a miracle just to get one point from the game but it was well worth trying to get all 3 before sitting back imo.
Obviously we can't say for certain that you would have sat back if a goal up but I believe you would have.
Injuries are now a massive concern for Spurs though, this will be massive test for the manager depending on who is out.

I love it. Would rather lose going for it than draw camping in our box.
We'd have lost more comfortably playing conteball win 9 men. Instead we actually still created a fair bit and almost equalised before the third.
10 times out of 10, you lose playing like that with 9 men. To dare is to lose.

Besides have you forgotten the last 5 years already?
Full credit to Spurs for giving it a go.
As said, cant recall any team winning with 9 men so you had nothing to lose.
You gave it a go and just fell short.
I like Ange. What was refreshing was his refusal to criticise the decisions - they were right - but that doesn't usually stop managers. He was brave and almost exploited Chelsea's fragile confidence with 9 men. He is a swashbuckling manager who likes open high-octane football and knows that his teams will sometimes cross the line and accepts the consequences. The word refreshing has been used too many times over the years, but he really is refreshing and a class act. Long may it continue.

Apart from the stadium exploding and Daniel levy declaring he will never ever leave spurs, it’s hard to see how that could have gone worse
Unless I’m missing something it’s the worst managerial perfomance I can remember. Awful tactics all round. Should have taken udogie off. And should have sat deeper with 10 men. Ridiculously naive

Any other side and I think going for it would be fair as you'd probably lose anyway, but Chelsea are literally known to struggle to score against teams that defend and lack confidence in front of goal.
The high line gifted them so many chances and they were always going to score 1 of them.

I think this is very important. You could see even before the red cards, Chelsea play very well through the midfield but go to peices in front of goal, we have no confidence. And having goals disallowed would have further eroded that confidence. Jackson was constantly offside and there was a time it seemed that Ange got the tactics spot on and the pressure was getting to Chelsea despite being in control of the game and we were making silly challenges which gave Spurs free kicks which troubled us no end. Spurs are second in the league and have a manager who wants to go for it, this should never be criticised.

Yep. It essentially let chelsea back into the game. Sterling was getting in time and again 11 v 11.
We then scored two 11 v 11.
Spurs lost their heads for no reason.

It's all very well saying Spurs should've dropped deep and played defensively but I honestly doubt Ange has ever done any work on that sort of system in training. You can say "he should have a plan B", which is fair enough, but losing two defenders to red cards and two integral players to injury is the sort of scenario you simply can't plan for. That wouldn't be plan B, that would be plan X Y or Z, and I don't think any manager has a go-to system for when that many things go against them
