I think Willy Carlin must have been the smallest. Great player!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Willy Carlin and Archie Gemmill were the two shortest players in the league. Carlin is about half an inch shorter than Archie (who is 5' 5" in Cuban heels).
I remember these stats from a full page colour photograph in the Shoot magazine back in the day (and proudly stuck to the bedroom wall).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How did you stick it to the wall ?
Impressive match thread turnout for a reserves game, fair play rams.
Wolves fans take note; 107 comments for a PL win over Bournemouth, I ask you, why do I bother?
Apathy Goldi.
Plus not a great interest in under 21,s as our track record for them ever playing in the Prem is pathetic.
Incidentally, don’t see the Rams winning the cup, or anything else this season for that matter.
If I wasn't so polite, I might be tempted to say the same thing about Wolves.

We've won something which will probably never get beaten.......so there.
And I'm not talking about the Watney Cup.

Only been to your ground once, it was early to mid 60s my memories not good, but I seem to remember an acre of ground in front of one of the main standards similar to Bramall Lane, but theirs was at the end of the pitch behind a goal.
*Stands
Also Richards always seemed give us a hard time.

Ah I dunno actually boston, Kilman, Bueno (H), Fraser, Hodge, all played in the first team this season and all came through the academy, albeit with Kilman he wasnt in it long.

Most likely 80s I think mate, new stand got built behind the existing Molineux street one and opened in 1979. Intention was to move the pitch over about 50yards towards the new stand to allow another one to be built opposite as the existing Waterloo road stand was tight against the road. Money ran out however and so for about 12 years the new stand was in a different post code to the rest of the ground and hence that acre of grass between it and the pitch.
The fa youth cup against Mansfield Town is live on Facebook 6:45 PM Friday night.
Thanks UT, will be tuning in
Got 90 mins from yesterday to watch first.
I was there when we won four nil, that was in the 80s probably 84/5 season. It's been a good ground for me, usually we have won when I have been there, the last time was for Darren Bent's great goal I think, but I was also there when Neves scored a wonder goal in their promotion year. The best night ever at Molyneux was of course the final day of the 71/2 season but I wasn't there to see that.

Went to the baseball ground once, my back garden had less mud than that pitch.
Anyway, best of luck for the rest of the season.

But what nice Wolves comments. We don't get much 606 interaction with other fans down here in the depths of L1!
Yes it seems all we get is comments from Wolves and Sheffield Wednesday that's about it
