Not sure when Warne asked for more goals from set pieces he was thinking of 2 taken by Wildsmith.

Stevenage scored in 45+14th minute

Barnsley were made to look ordinary - one shot for Wildsmith to save and Cole did not get a look in. Back four superb, Wilson and NML both unplayable and Collins led the line brilliantly. Loads of aggression all over the pitch. MOM was probably Collins but so many were exceptional esp Cashin and Fozzie. Wilson is amazing -goes past players (plural) as if they are not there and NML was similar til injured. Let's hope it's not serious.

It was great to see the constant pressing and desire in the second half. Barnsley were just unable to cope. PW is doubtless delighted with the nature of our goals. Not things of beauty but all borne from aggression in the box.

It's an absolutely awful spectacle

Great all round performance. Very good organisation and lots of threat. I thought the wide players were all excellent today. I also thought Hourihane played really well, very influential without anything particularly eye-catching, and Cashin was almost flawless.

See, he did learn something from the u18s
